A couple of my friends want me to join Runescape and I have a couple other friends that want me to join them on World of Warcraft. I cannot decide on which one I want to join, I really dont want to have to pay for both games and they both look interesting to me. But i dont know which one would be worth my while.

Give your opinion on which game would be better and why, avoid focusing on which has better graphics or effects. Try and convince me through which has better gameplay or more diverse mission.

Honestly, in my opinion, all MMORPG's are the same, they follow the same typical pattern and have similiar set-ups to them. Really isn't much that is different between game. Kind of like when you played one, you payed them all type of deal.

I personally dislike both of them; WoW is incredibly overrated but RuneScape largely fails at being a 'game' at all, except for a few of it's plotlines that are pretty good.

I like runescape more, because it actually has stuff that you can play for free and test whether you like it a lot... with WOW, you constantly have to pay money if you want to play...
