Win. So much win. I dunno about the starters, only two of them look decent, but the gameplay upgrades are bound to be great. Did you see how efficient and compact the HP bars are in the battle interface? Everything in this game--from what preview pictures I've seen--seems to be nice and polished.
Can't wait for next year.

Each pokemon game is a win for one reason and a fail for another. The dungeon games were a win 'cause it was so unique and fun, but fail 'cause of some of the long boring texts that you couldn't skip over (like if you were re-playing the game), and 'cause the pokemon didn't evolve until way, way after defeating the game.
So far, I've seen only one fail for black and white, and that is that the two first pokemon revealed are event pokemon and only obtainable if you show up for some event.  But the graphic is AMAZING! I'll for sure buy both.
EDIT;; I also worry about how quick they are in making of this game. I fear they might make lots of mistakes during the making 'cause it was all so rushed. Well from my point of view everything seems nice about it but there are some things that stand out about it so far such as

This is a sure win! They need a new game to up their games a notch! Everything has been seeing good so far except for their names! >.<
It starts out with the old red/blue/yellow, then ups it to the jewllery name department with gold, silver, crystal, so far right? Then comes ruby, sapphire, emerald, diamond, pearl, platinum, Heart, Soul AND THEN........................!!!!!!!! Black and white. ........ Ya see what I mean? It goes SO far up and then it downslides by the seconds when the name was published! >> Black and White to me seem so 1st gen. lol so I find these names kinda funny actually! ( But not as funny as the fact that the evolved legendary Zoaroak, or what his name may be, has a ponytail! THAT'S hysterical! I hope its a win. I've begun to notice how the graphics and the plot have an inverse relationship to each other. Graphic quality goes up, plot quality goes down. Plot quality goes up, graphics quality goes down. Pokemon Black and White have some pretty good graphics, so hopefully...
Also, I really hope that the third version (equivalent to Platinum, Emerald, Crystal, and Yellow) is not Pokemon Grey. That just sounds weird. What will the mascot be? A pencil? I am voting win just for the sheer fact that I really want a decent pokemon game that is not a remake to be released in the near future. megarevolution1 : I agree. There are already WAY to many pokemon. I'll admit, there are many pokemon from each generation that I like. It just seems like there to many now. Adding 100 more will just make it worse. I like the idea of having a new area to explore but I wish they would do it without adding dozens of new pokemon and characters.
Not to mention how similar the games and the shows are. I am definitely not buying this game until I read more about them and the inevitable sister game comes out.
