Reasons beyond me, the new server doesn't seem to be sending out emails when a user registers and that is required to activate your account. I'll hopefully get this fixed sometime this weekend but just thought I'd let you all know in case you knew someone who was having troubles registering.

EDIT: It's back up after hours of research.

That really sucks for Vizzed and it's growth. I mean I'm sure it's not going to have a long term affect on vizzed but it still sucks for vizzed right now and for potential users that might not ever comeback to the site because of this, hopefully they still will though...

I'm not sure what the odds of this are but whoever designed the part of the database in charge of sending out activation emails for some reason made the data type smallint which means that the site would not be able to send out more than 65,535 activation emails and we hit that around the time the site went down (which I didn't realize). So when I said the registration was fixed, I was wrong since another problem came up which was this, users would try to register but the database was unable to store any more info for potential users.

Registration does work now, and I can verify it because I've tried it out myself (which is what I should've done last night) and I just saw someone register.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.
