Oh, I think it just had a better storyline than most movies. Also, the 3D was a bit better than other movies.

It was an alright movie but I don't believe it's really worth buying. It takes a lot for me to want to buy a movie. I usually only buy movies that I will enjoy watching numerous times and this is not one of those movies. It's too similiar to Pocahontas with a futuristic taste to it. It was good enough to watch once maybe twice, that's it.

When I first saw the title, I thought they were talking about Avatar: The Last Airbender (which I really liked watching) but when I found out that it was completely different, and I saw how bad the movie looked overall, it just made me hate it.

Luckily though, I later found out that there WAS a movie coming out called The Last Airbender, which IS a live-action version of the cartoon I enjoyed, so I can't wait for that. Lol

I had the same problem as Zeld. I heard they were making a Last Airbender movie and I got really excited but then I saw the previews for Avatar, and I got really confused. I might buy it in a while from now, just to say I own it. I think avatar is going to be considered a pioneer for movies of it's type, where you can't tell if they're actors or CG. I know a whole lot of people who love it, but in all honestly it's more pretty than actually a good movie. It was good entertainment, and raked in huge cash, but everyone has seen it so many times, it will either maintain it's strength and sell out instantly, or barely sell at all. I can't tell, but I'm leaning towards it selling out.
