I want to know why the original computer that I was using: it says that Windows did not start successfully, but it gave me choices of safe mode, safe mode, with command prompt, with networking, and start Windows normally. When I chose one of the choices, my computer restarted every time you select one of the choices. Does anyone know why?

No matter what you choose the computer just restarts? How far in the boot up does it go? It sounds like it could be (but certainly not the only possible cause) a hardware problem.

But ya, how far into the boot does it restart (test on safe mode). Does it make it to the Windows loading screen, or just when you see a bunch of lines of text on a black screen?

It doesn't have boot up Light Knight. You see that the reason I can't get my original computer to work. Also Windows won't load no matter what.

So windows doesn't even load. When you're computer is restarting, how far does it go before it starts over again?

Sounds like you have a corrupt OS install if it won't even load into Safe Mode. If you try to load safe mode it should list the system files as they load. Does it consistently stop in the same place? I'd suggest doing a repair install from the OS disk with the available info. It'll keep your settings and applications usually but there is a risk of damage to data files. Here's a link to to procedure http://michaelstevenstech.com/XPrepairinstall.htm Good luck!!!
