I think that Solid Snake would win against Lara Croft because he is stealthy, clever, and quick. Eventhough Lara Croft has skills, Snake has the box to camofaluge himself. Solid Snake also can break Lara's neck.

Snake because he was only raised from a child to do nothing but kill kill kill. He's beaten mind readers, super snipers, and a giant with a gattling gun. The scariest thing Croft fought was a T-Rex. Compared to Metal Gear Rex that seems pretty obsolete.
