Vizzed Flash Bash was a game I worked on in 2008 with a group of developers that I had hired. It never was completed and it became obsolete once Flash was discontinued since it was made in flash. It was intended to be a Battle Arena that took characters and levels from 8-bit and 16-bit games. I was always trying to find a way to promote it in order to get the funding to help finish it because at that time, I didn't have the full skillset to fulfill what I had dreamed of with it. I had even made an April Fools prank video for it (which was ultimately a way to promote it):

Recently, I migrated the entire game to Javascript, which can be found here:

It still only has offline 2 player mode, but I did add the following:
  • Added controller support

  • Added CPU opponents

  • Added 4 player support (with controllers)

  • Fixed the character stats to be more balanced

  • Updated it so that it shows the character stats

  • Fixed some collision detection and various other issues

  • Fixed character physics and mechanics

Most of you probably don't remember this game but it was something I was passionate about and had planned out years before attempting to make it. The concept has been done since then but I still want to expand this a little by at very least adding Online support. Adding a campaign would be awesome as well.

I let out an audible "oh my god" seeing this thread title lol... I was just thinking about this game the other day when I saw it in the older control panel (the one that's still on the /boards/ subdomain) I accessed by accident! I'm sure this will make you feel a little old, sorry in advance lol, but I used to bring this game up when we were in the computer lab in elementary school... the memories came flooding in a little bit opening this up again. I know it was never completed but it sure was a lot of fun for a bunch of little twerps lol. I think this probably was early 2009ish as I knew about the site well before creating this account.

I hope I'm wrong but I'm not sure there's anyone else still around on Vizzed that will appreciate this like I do. It was nice to sit in that nostalgia for just a little bit.
