Yesterday was a slow day, if I had been a bit egotistical I'd have neglected my real life duties and come here to brag about winning the World Cup xD

I feel a bit encouraged to try sidequests, so I might work on some things. Not sure if they'll be a big impact, but I want to at least try something and properly secure my top 5 instead of patiently waiting Davideo to do his thing and overtake me because of posting here the results everyday lol

Also, big shoutout to the first entry in the white banner category! Nice to see geeo have a little brother for this month and August too, given he's barely been active in past competitions seeing two users clad in white in the standings is quite a sight.

I saw the opportunity for a quad seven-pointer and ran with it lol. Just figured I'd get a little bit of an extra lead that will let me cruise through these last ten days without putting much more effort in. Yellow and Red are mine at this point which were the only two I intended to fight for. I probably won't be a complete slacker but I think I'm just gonna be in cruise control from here on out.

I wasn't expecting to get summoned to this thread today. Making the leaderboard for Blue with 1 post is not a great sign.

Well at least after today we are through the middle 10 days I always say are the worst and the end will actually be in sight! Thank gosh because I'm really burnt out on the green jersey so after this 10th monthly victory I'm probably taking a few tdvs off from going for it maybe if I go for another win at some point trying to do so without green might be a fun challenge but who knows if I'd actually stick to that but at least after this I have no real reason to have to go for it again unless I really feel like it.

I made up ground in Blue! I wasn't expecting that and with 10 days left I should fairly easily be able to make up the last few points.

I still need to be posting 15 times a day on average in order to hit 30k this month which should hopefully beat Min more often than not and get me the blue jersey for this TdV.

I don't expect to catch Sonic but there were a few days where I thought it was possible.

It's really amazing to see this is yesterday's summary for me. I guess all my chances are now gone, I won't do much today and social plans will also have me away at least two other days. I can still do things but I'll lose more ground before that so we'll see if I can actually do something about it.

Somehow I'm in the top 10. I guess I'll make a small push to keep myself there. With 10 days left to go quite literally everything is still up for grabs for the main competitors, though green and red would be incredibly difficult.

Yeah. I wasn't really planning on going for it but when no one else really did a lot for green and red I figured I could get it pretty easily. I thought about making a couple more posts and get 7 points in blue as well but I ran out of places to post and didn't want to force it too much more than I already have been.

Still, this changes things with Sonic. Not that far behind anymore. I might have a chance to catch him now.

And I've got the blue jersey now. Just need to outpost Min for another week and I'll have won a jersey. I don't think I've won a jersey outside of when I won a TdV before so that'll be fun. I guess grey but that doesn't really count the same since there isn't usually a lot of competition for that one.

Well, glad to see my attempts at doing something can still pay off. I might go for a last shot next week since I won't have any free time for my PC in the coming days.

It's nice to see we still have some open battles this late into the competition. Overall Blue is the closest one, and remains to be seen who gets silver and bronze overall. Probably not the battles we wanted, but we at least have something to check on.

I hope I don't miss up much this weekend, I'll be back on Monday with a lot more free time than as of late and with a terrible itch to post after the self-imposed abstinence in the name of social life xD

geeogree isn't slowing down.

I'm doing my best in spite of having almost no help in posting.

I did extend my lead over Sonic but now I'm mostly just worried about having enough places to post for this last week to hit 30k. It's been a struggle to post as much as I have this month. I'm running out of places to post.

I'll find ways but it's getting tougher each day to manage it.

How in hell did I get a Yellow jersey? And how in hell did I happen to wear it for a day I never had the chance to log in? The world is such an unfair place.

Well, at least that puts me alone in 6th overall for most Yellow jerseys, breaking a three-way tie that had existed for some time now. It also gave me a nice boost in points that, if I can maintain the pace from today on, I could end up achieving my goal of that overall top 5. Not gonna be easy since I need to sort out life and such, but after coming this far I'm not going down without a fight.

There aren't many places to post in despite being away for nearly three days, which means the competition has died out sadly. At least we do have geeo on the chase of Minuano to grab overall Yellow, having already snatched Blue from him. The gap is significant with just a handful of days left, but it's not impossible at all with the seven pointers and such.

If such thing was to happen, it would be the first time since Autumn 2017 that the overall winner claims less than two jerseys, and also the first time since then that somebody other than the winner walked away with more than one overall jersey. A whopping 21 competitions later, though it's true we had several years where we only ran two competitions a year rather than four.
