So I have a few things lined up, finishing up the school year shopping, etc though as soon as the tour is over there's something I want to test and hope I don't break any functions again.


I'm going to play some Playstation games so I can have a little more screenshots do get done. I also got some game guides going and I'm going to spend time between tours playing.

Victoria Day long weekend is coming and I'm going to upload whichever game wins the coin-op gaming poll (it will be the first time my poll doesn't have Ninja turtles or the ones I like most).


I also have to get some extras videos done (plus an owniversary special, and since RetroArch works again I can finish a project I had been working on and save it for the 5k subscribers video) plus I have to prepare a video for my 20th Youtube Anniversary.

I also have alot of movies to finish up on my watch list I really want to finish it up

I'm definitely going back to writing guides. I have an itch to write and my pending list is way too long.

Maybe I'll get something done during the first two weeks of May, as I've been working on and off on a project that will have two sequels. Since I need to get to grips with a few new things, I need this test in order to start dropping bombs from now on.

I also want to do a run on what other content I could contribute to this site and if I'm actually up to it. I know this sounds like a possible goodbye, but I do know I have less and less time for this site as my life progresses so I want to at least trim down the list of everything I could have completed just in case life keeps me away from here or my computer (which is starting to happen).

Besides that, yes, I'll be gaming a little too. It's always nice to game, it lets you disconnect from everything and enjoy your time. The downside is that I barely have anything new to do so I'm searching for sidequests or directly new acquisitions. There's one I could definitely get within two months, I'll check if it's actually feasible.

EX Palen : To be honest I'm considering retirement from the tour myself, I just haven't figured out when (I don't know if I'll do the Summer tour this year considering that's when Hurricane Twister is when he's busiest, but he hasn't had an active presence since January) I'd rather do some other gaming because the Emulator JS has been working better on other site for some reason (some retroarchs don't work here) Something had to replace the winner of the coin-op gaming poll

Well I knew I was moving back up to Global after the tour was over so I was trying to think what I could do as a global for the site compared to being a local, which to be honest isn't that much but it does help me be more motivated. In the 2 months till next Tour I would really like to hit 5.5k posts which should be really easy but with how the activity can drop outside of tdv it's certainly not promised to me and I have to make sure I stay active to do it as well.


classgame : Can you retire till you win? I've always assumed that was your main goal with tdv? I know personally I wouldn't be able to in your shoes but I also don't know what sucked you into doing all these tours in the first place lol. If Twister stays retired and you can build up some reviews I could see Summer as possible to win depending on who all joins.

SonicOlmstead : to be fair I didn't get caught in these until I got more notifications than normal in Winter 2021 and then my membername suddenly changed color. Thing is with your rank you probably get to do alot more and rate alot more things that would be worth more whether it was a double CP day or not (and sometimes it's hard to tell with the base amount)

Maybe it's time I watched Tweety's High Flying Adventure and get something ready to go for that review since I was willing to do screenshots for that game and found time and patience for that one.

My ideal plan is to stick around with this increased activity until I hit the 5000 post mark that I'm aiming for... and then I'll probably be back to my usual drive-by once or twice a month schedule. I wager this will probably take me the rest of the year though and probably participation in the next Tour (or two?) although I don't intend to compete for green/red nor overall first place in any future ones. I claimed one TDV and that's good enough for me... regardless of it's activity levels. Although I will say I've had some worthy competition in this second half and the only reason my victory is guaranteed is because of the head start that I fought for - if geeo and the like were around the entire time I can't say for sure I'd still have won.

There's only an extremely small handful of active members (not including Davideo) that can relate to this, but I am beginning to approach TWENTY!!! YEARS!!!!!!!!!!! of being registered and active. To put that in another perspective, I will barely be 30 years old when I hit that mark. Throughout my time here, I've always been on the chat room side of things, and this remains even true to this day where even if I forget to login to the website for months at a time, I am still at least semi active (as can be) in the Vizzed Discord server. I was just kinda figuring that someone of my standing should at least have 5000 posts by now lol... and I'm trying to seize the motivation to do so while it exists. Good luck to me!

If I somehow don't hit 30k in the next 5 days then I will for sure stick around and make sure I hit that milestone. I'll hit 2 million words tonight probably so that's also taken care of.

I do hope to stick around through the year. I've really enjoyed posting. It's more fulfilling than any of the social media sites that I was spending a decent amount of time on. Those just don't do it for me anymore. I want real human interaction and I don't think that exists for the most part on most other sites.

I'm also a local mod and I feel an obligation to try and keep the site active as much as I can while I have that role. Obviously when the TdV ends it won't be as active but I do hope to stop by as often as I can.

I'll also probably be around on discord more often than I used to be. But, this is all subject to change if I get a job any time soon.

I never did get to watch Tweety's High Flying adventure, and Twister never did make a dent in the tour this time, though granted I don't regret stepping back I had too much to do.

I will be exploring the many new features David has brought to the site.

I've been through four months of neverending work that has tired me out to extreme levels. I'm starting to recompose myself, and starting on August I'll have more free time to explore what has happened during this period I've been busy.

I will remain active, though. I don't want to fade into nothingness, but I'm afraid the extra free time will be used for all those things I never had time for outside this place xD. I'll try my best to defy the odds and come here with y'all for some posting and whatnot.

I'll probably be sad my streak has come to an end, three in a row wasn't meant to be... no I'm glad I took a break this competition. I've played a lot of games that I've enjoyed and will continue to do so in the months following this one.
