I've made a bunch of various updates to the Retro Game Room.

Autocomplete:
As you're searching, the search box will have a dropdown that tries to guess what you're searching for and if you click one of the results, it takes you straight to that game.

Better Results:
The results should be more relevant. Also, it should now be able to find games that it wasn't able to find before due to a typo.

Faster Results:
Searching should be slightly faster and for the more complex searches, it should be significantly faster.



Hacked Games:
Kept official/original releases ranked above hacks for normal searches. Still lets hacks/homebrew rank higher when the search clearly asks for them.



Misc Updates:
There's a bunch of other small updates made that you'll eventually notice. I honestly forgot everything I did, lol.

I can't remember if you can search Nintendo games before your update but is it possible to hide them from search? I know you can still get to them via google but if you are on site I could see that leading to reports of why is this showing when you can't play.

I do feel like making the Nintendo games only visible in the VGR would make sense, since they can't be played in the RGR nowadays. The only major negative thing is that that might affect the ROMhacks as well, and some of those are actually substantial enough to be worth having pages and reviews and stuff on. Regardless, these are some very welcome updates!

-Allowing users to still access screenshots they created with the RGR Plugin

Actually that's the only reason I can remember at the moment, lol. Maybe I was also going to eventually make it so that someone could load their own copy of the game.

I just updated it so that they rank even lower now though but I wont object to having them not show up completely.
