I haven't seen any of those either, sorry. But I agree with bdFalc0n07, I liked watching full house with my family back when I was little.

I prefer Full House first and then Family Matters second. However, I like both shows. I grew up watching them.

I like Family Matters better because it has a good Opening Theme Song.

I also love ths show. The show is more crazier, in which Steve Urkel is a clumsy person build many machines that goes wrong and leaves it in a disaster. Some of the episodes were awesome, and the lessons that they show were interesting in the way they put it.

I also like Fresh Prince Of Bel Air. It too had a rockin and poppin opening them song. I really miss this show, it was epic. Every time it came on the TV I would just sit there singing along, I still do!

Out of the two given, I like Family Matters better because of Steve Urkel. He's so frickin hilarious!

As of others, I like Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, mainly because of its theme song and Jazz.

I think both Family Matters and Full House are classics but there were so many sitcoms in the 80s that were just as good if not better Perfect Strangers and Cheers along with Family Matters and Full House would be at the top of my list. It’s funny how Family Matters was able to stand on it’s own yet it was a spin off of Perfect Strangers.

It’s a shame that with a few exceptions that “Reality” TV has taken over pretty much. I miss the times when networks would pick two nights a week if not more and run sitcoms.

Thank god for TV Land.

I would have to go with Family Matters because in my opinion, it is hands down the better show. I really didn't get the humor in Full House, but with Steve Urkel there wasn't an episode i didn't have fun watching of Family Matters.

heilnaraku : Full House was funny but the thing about that show wasn’t so much the characters as much as it was that they tried to build episodes around lessons for kids which is something that today’s TV lacks severely. Family Matters had the same type of life lessons in it’s show but they relied a lot on slapstick comedy with Urkel’s character and although it worked and although it was definitely hilarious and cleaver how they would work the slapstick humor in it did get repetitive at times.

You are a fading dream, but one that has been touched by reality. Run, dream. Run on into the daylight. And walk into reality.

The Wonder Years was also a great show that I think is grossly underrated. I think one of the reasons why The Wonder Years hasn’t gotten the same kind of credit as other shows is because there were so many of really great shows in the 80s.

It defiantly deserves more credit than some shows of the 90s that’s for sure. As I said with a few exceptions I’m not a big reality TV fan and I think the concept of reality television has pretty much gone as far as it can and it would be nice to see sitcoms get more of a push than they do currently.

I realize that my opinion may not be the popular view of many but what can I say? I’m an old school guy and really appreciate the kind of good television that sitcoms can deliver.
