Mega man is a (somewhat) famous game series, but in recent years hasn't had any traction. The general consensus is that the games just simply don't sell well enough to warrant new developments, especially with the cost of making a video game now.

I think the only way Mega man could make a return would be with a new battle structure, conforming to newer games fighting systems. With this in mind, maybe it would be better to let the IP fall off.

I'd also like for everyone to look at the cover of Mega Man 2.

I think the success of the recent Battle Network Collection pretty much told them all they need to know about how popular the series is now so I don't think it would take too much convincing to get them to do more games overall.

Personally I would love more in the Battle Network series since those were what got me into the series in the first place.
