I've been watching a lot of videos about various handheld emulators lately and it got me thinking about if anyone here has interacted with that market at all. I mean obviously there are powerful handheld PC's like the Steam Deck or ROG Ally but there are also quite a few cheaper ones out there from companies like Anbernic or Powkiddy. I myself own an RG280V from Anbernic and also just ordered an RG35XXH from them a couple days ago. I really enjoy these smaller devices because they can still play thousands of games and they fit nicely in my pocket. Have any of you ever messed with any of these devices, and if so which ones do you own?

Does the 3ds count as an emulation handheld? It can technically emulate a couple systems if have CFW/homebrew on it. I really do enjoy emulation getting way more portable with physical buttons. Emulation on my phone always sucked in my opinion since my fingers would just slowly slide up the screen and I would have to adjust them.

pokemon x :

I would count pretty much any device that's capable of emulation jailbroken or otherwise so yeah. The 3DS definitely counts. I have an Iphone so I wasn't able to emulate on my phone until Apple lifted the restrictions more recently but yeah I agree it isn't the greatest option.
