The issues where the site will be really slow at loading or not load at all has been mostly resolved. It was related to the excessive bot traffic. We're still getting a lot of bot traffic but I've installed some things and configured various settings on the server to handle some of it.

I'm hoping what I did is good enough for now but there's no way to know for sure.

thing1: Indirectly yeah, for some bots anyway. If it's search engine bots, they have to scan the site in order to rank my site, so most of them are valuable. Then there's bots like the internet archive bot, which is also good to have because that's how historic records of the site get preserved. But then there's the random malicious bots that seem to have no purpose and view pages that shouldn't exist, they are the ones that put bad strain on teh site.

SuperCrash64: Did you copy and paste it into the post editor or did you type it into the post editor directly? Another user had an issue with a longer post a week or two ago that was copied and pasted from another document. Usually it's only the formatting that gets messed up from copy & paste; that was the first time I've seen the post disappear completely.

Your review does show up in the logs as being a 993-word post, by the way, even though it shows up blank when viewing the review itself. Not sure what to make of that.

If you still have the review saved elsewhere, I'd recommend trying again with the "Basic" post editor. I switched to the Basic post editor a long time ago because it generally seemed to be less buggy. Not sure if it would make a difference in your case, but it's worth a try.

If you don't have it saved anywhere else, I'm really sorry that the site lost your work.

Yeah, just to add on to what SuperCrash is talking about, he wrote a review on mobile and when he submitted it the website registered it as 938 words and gave him the appropriate amount of CP and Viz, but the post itself was blank. I clicked the edit button to see if the text was still there but just invisible for some reason (maybe a layout issue) but the post also showed up blank when I tried to edit it.
