What are your thoughts on the 2024 Olympics? I just want to know what everyone thinks of it, I think that it has been the weirdest Olympics yet, like, why was the Mona Lisa underwater? And what's up with all of those panting's underwater?

The coolest part was the lasers from the Eifel Tower, so cool.

I thought the opening ceremony was done really well and it was such a nice change of pace to see this done on the Seine River rather than at a stadium

Right now I'm really disappointed in Canada's Women's soccer team some of their coaches were caught with drones spying on New Zealand (and yeah people are going to be aghast thinking "Really? Canada of all countries?" the coaches have been banned from coaching for a year and the team will lose 6 points and they'll have to win the next three games in order to advance to the next round)

I thought that opera singer with the statues was really good and I knew people were going to talk about that Marie Antoinette thing

I really thought the opening ceremony was boring compared to other opening ceremonies. This one was very weird.

I might take heat for this but here it goes. I did not like it how the last supper and Jesus was mocked. I found that to be in very bad taste and disrespectful. I know it is their right to do that in a free society but just cause you can does not mean that you should. Even some non Christians are outraged that they mocked the Lord's last supper.

As many have you pointed out what was with the underwater gigs. I do not get that. I may also take heat for this as well but the US announcing team was horrible. Payton Manning is a good broadcaster when it comes to football but he needs to stick to football.

I have watched a few games looks like the competition is good. Last night me and Mrs.Tornado was watching. The US gymnastics team did well, so did the swim teams. I think we got a metal in fencing. The French Swimmer Leonard he did very well.

As of this morning looks like a good race for medals between the USA, Japan, Britain, France, and I want to think Germany has a few now.

I just watch what is aired in the evening so I'm sure I'm missing some things.

Personally, I'm a fan of the winter Olympics.

I'm actually amazed that Canada has been medalling in sports they don't normally medal in, hell they got their first gold in Judo yesterday (their first gold in Judo period), my country has finally got going after a bit of a slow start

Honestly I never pay attention to the Olympics. Usually their at a time of day that I wouldn't be able to watch because of where they're located, or the sports don't interest me. For the last Olympics, I haven't watched a single video of any of the competitions and the only things I know we're the meme images of the archery people and the Tom Cruise stunt. That's probably the most attention I've paid to the Olympics since the year that Michael Phelps won everything.
