So something I seemed to have noticed that did Nintendo rush release or mass release games in the months leading to the release of the Game Boy Advanced? which by the way I actually did find out that regular Game Boy Games did work on the advanced (my uncle owned one he used his old Tetris Cartridge in it) I don't know what the history is but it's something I seemed to have noticed when I've been doing some ratings and I see quite a few games that were released in the year 2000

I think they did a mass release right before the product was actually released. In 2000 the Game Boy Color was still popular. But I remember commercials about the new Game Boy Advanced coming in a few months. Then it seemed like a flood of games started to be released. Funcoland (now Gamestop) put a lot of coming games online, so did Walmart and Kmart so people could get the games before the system.

As for rushing, I think Nintendo did rush some games. Some of the early Game Boy Advanced games had sloppy graphics. Those that came out after the release of the system had much better graphics. That is just my opinion of course

Well I think it may have also had to do with planning on discontinuing Game Boy Color release games once the Advanced was release because I think they released a Harry Potter game and Monsters Inc game before they concentrated on Advanced and the Game Cube
