Well I wish I could go back to my pre-COVID traditions but dad says he no longer thinks it's worth it to drive down to the US (I wish I could drive down there myself but I would need a credit card to pay for gas and a hotel room because for some reason it's more expensive down there well the former is at least)

otherwise my plans include gaming, shopping, fringing, doing stuff at Folklorama and hopefully still have money by the time I go back to work in September. I'm hoping to hit underdogs again not just because of the food but also to fullfill my nostalgic gaming fantasies since they had a menagerie of games I remember from hotel vacations past oh and watching the Olympics of course

also today is NHL free agent frenzy I'm going to be attached to my computer because I'll be tracking who the Jets are gaining and who we are losing (I already know that Brossoit wants out, I was too happy to get him back last year because I wanted to rub it in Vegas's face...well at least Vegas was eliminated in Round 1 this year bwa hahahahaha)

July is the last month of hard work for us, so not much to do other than enduring it. I'll have a few things to celebrate, which I'm not fond of, but otherwise it'll be more or less like any other month we've had so far this year.

August will be a bit different. I won't take my holidays then because it's the best moment for work, the low workload means we can organize things calmly after months of frenzy and without much trouble from customers, and since most of the city are enjoying the holidays the travel to and from my workplace is much calmer and better. I'll also have much more free time, which I'll make sure to put to good use in gaming and other social plans.

September will be when I take my holidays, so basically enduring July means a big liberation for the two following months. Talk about some Monday motivation there xD

Funny you should bring up September, my mother won something from a radio station that involved an overnight hotel stay but she wants to hold it off til September because other people are doing holidays and stuff (understandable but I was born impatient)

I'm going to be super busy this summer, so busy that I cancelled my movie theater subscriptions because I won't be able to go out much. First of all I'll be working like normal throughout the summer which means around 35 to 43 hours per week split between two jobs. But I also started writing my next book this week and my goal is to put around 5 to 10 hours per week into that.

Me and my wife have been working on our house. We had planned on taking some trips however that got derailed. The reason it got derailed was for two reasons. First of all, I had a flare up with my condition so that disrupted plans. Second, it has been way too hot to do anything. In my area we have had several days with temps 96-100 with heat indexes 105-110. That is too hot to do anything. Moreover, it has been really dry as we are also in a drought. Some of the places we where going to see are not good right now due to the drought.

Still, we have been having a good summer. Our plans when it turns cooler is to go to some places, work some outside, and of course watch football. That will be good as usually in the next few months I'm busy as a meteorologist with hurricanes and fall is the second month of severe weather season.

Fringe Fest started today but I won't start seeing anything til tomorrow I cannot wait to buy some deep fried Cheese Curds I can't wait to go shopping, but the show I'm looking forward to seeing most is seeing Colin Mochrie for some reason he was booked here this year, I've been a Whose Line fan for almost 20 years and it's always a treat to see anyone from the show come out here
