Considering that last year was my busiest movie going year in a long time (Are You There God It's Me Margaret, Little Mermaid (2023)...twice, Barbie and Wish) there won't be alot for me to look forward to since Disney hasn't announced this year's animated release, it seems there's only one film I'll be seeing this year and it will be Wicked Part 1...and that won't be until November

I also found 2023 was a great movie year. Oppenheimer, Killers of the Flower Moon, and Across the Spiperverse were the top ones for me. I also say Asteroid City, Barbie, and Godziller Minus one at the movies. I still haven't seen the Boy and the Heron, nor Napoleon. Which was your fave of 2023, Classgame?

For 2024, I am looking forward to Dune part 2 the most. Argylle might be good, and I may go to the movies for that one. There's also a new Mad Max film and the third Spiderverse movie coming out which I am excited for and will for sure see in cinema.

Light Knight: well it's a tossup between Are You There God? and the Barbie film as both were well done, and it's actually a miracle that we actually did get the Barbie movie as it it had been in development hell for so long like it was green lit and stopped and greenlit so many times to a point where Amy Schumer was briefly involved, I'm looking forward to hearing the Oscar Nominations next week (I know Barbie will probably take a a couple home, they'll get Best original song for sure, I hope I'm Just Ken is one of them mostly because I want to see that performed live)

well alot has changed since I started this thread, I do plan on seeing Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice in September when it opens (which means I have to check the Cineplex Junxion site almost every day just so I can see when advanced tickets are available) and Disney did announce Moana 2....on the same day as WICKED PART 1 WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU DISNEY!? oh yeah and there's live action Mufasa....I am well aware of how fans feel about the live action remakes but Lin Manuel Miranda did the soundtrack (which can probably explain why he didn't do the songs for Moana 2 this time around....even Menken and Ashman was able to multitask)


oh yeah and Barbie only got one win at the Oscars they should have gotten it for wardrobe at least but hey I was right about I'm Just Ken being performed at the Oscars

A few months ago I said I did not plan on watching any movies this year. I am not including old movies. However, Mrs. Tornado and I want to see the twister movie. Both of us like storms and of course I'm a meteorologists. I must admit being a meteorologist I want to see the new twister movie. We plan on seeing it when it comes out.

I cancelled my subscription to Regal theaters a few weeks ago because I'll be too busy so I have to cut back on what I see for the rest of the year. As a result I plan on seeing Deadpool and Wolverine, Twisters, and TRAP, but then nothing else interests me enough until Sonic 3.
