I preordered a steelbook version of Monster Hunter Wilds from Best Buy. Steelbooks that aren't a part of an outrageously expensive collectors edition are right up my alley. Don't get me wrong, I've bought collectors editions of games before, but nowadays the prices have gotten a ridiculous so I'm glad Capcom didn't do that when they easily could've.

The past few games I bought have been the first 3 Metal Gear Solids originally I wasn't planning on buying 3 cause I wanted to wait for the remake but after playing the 2nd being kind of disappointed by it in comparison to how amazing I thought the 1st Metal Gear Solid was I decided if 3 is as good as everyone says it is it won't kill me to play the remake whenever it comes out and also would let me wait for a sale on it and see if the remake was done well.

I recently bought a VR headset, and with that I bought Half Life Alyx, since it was on sale for the steam winter sale.

I don't really buy games often anymore, I probably won't buy another one for a while. The only game I'm looking forward to (that I know of) is GTA VI, but that won't be on PC for quite a while.

I mainly do live service games now.

I bought the Nintendo Switch version of Triggerheart Exelica. It's a very fun game, I'm a fan of shoot 'em ups (it's the reason why I have an Xbox 360, as I've said before) and I like Triggerheart Exelica a lot, I highly recommend it.

The last game that I bought was Repo. I don't buy games often since I get two or three for free every week for work but I really wanted to try this one out.

I don't remember when I preordered Xenoblade X DE but that's probably the most recent game I bought tbh, so far it's been so worth it I'm not sure how I feel about it compared to the trilogy but I've been really enjoying it though I'm still mad it got announced not long after I bought the original version on Wii U

I actually think the last game I purchased was a game I purchased not for myself, but for my wife. For Christmas, I bought her the Wii Sports game on the Switch. We had been playing Wii Sports on my Wii U, so I thought it would be nice to get her the newer version of the game. I think we've played it once lol.

I bought Baldur's Gate 3 last week because it finally went on sale on PS5, but the way it handles is not very user friendly on PS5. I still haven't gotten out of the tutorial area.

I bought Onechanbara: Bikini Zombie Slayers. My first Onechanbara game, I don't know if I'll get more games of the series but for now, that's my most recent purchase and I already beat the game with Saki. I plan to write a review of Onechanbara: Bikini Zombie Slayers in the near future, oh yeah.

The last game that I bought was the collectors edition for The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy. I didn't want to pay the extra money and have two copies of the game, but I really needed to get all the extra goodies that the collectors edition comes with because it's one of the best editions I've ever seen for a game before. I just need to wait for it to arrive since the game still hasn't come out yet.

I recently picked up the Master of Orion series (1-3 anyway, not the remaster) on GOG alongside the older X-com games. I've been getting more and more games from GOG lately and I think part of the reason is because I've also been messing with Linux more and GOG games are integrated right into Lutris so it makes it easier to install them. That being said, Steam has been doing a lot for Linux gaming as well with proton.

Just recently I bought Ghost of Tsushima on PC. Originally played it on PS4 but I really want to go through and play it again in the upcoming weeks.

The last game i purchased was Monster Hunter World. I was looking to get into Monster Hunter a few weeks back. I was deciding between World or Wilds. Decided against Wilds because of the $70 price tag, and the bad optimizations. Likely will buy that next whenever its on sale.

I last purchased Hogwarts Legacy at a steep discount, I think $15.

I don't pay full price for any games anymore, except for the Trails of Cold Steel games because I KNOW they will be worth it.

$60 or $70 for a game I might not even like is too much. There is too much variety in games these days and too many misses.

Already bought the Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion Remastered. I'm surprised that it dropped the same day it was announced but I'm also surprised at how cheap it is compared to other games. $50 for the game and expansions is insane.

I believe the last game I purchased was Pokemon Legends Z-A, which I bought before going to Italy this past April. The idea was to play it on the plane, but I didn't actually start playing it until I returned home from my trip.

Not counting Humble bundles, which I tend to buy for the charity more than the games anyway, Ghost Keeper. The demo was the opposite of impressive but the reviews were all people gushing about it being a worthy successor to Ghost Master...

It's not. It can never hope to approach Ghost Master at the rate it's going. Ghost Master had an impressive soundtrack, this has a handful of whisper-quiet tracks. Ghost Master had truly memorable units, some you could even be fond of for themselves instead of their mechanics. This they're utterly forgettable, even the cat (Sir Pounce de Leon) is nothing but his abilities (he can trip a mortal who's running for help to buy you time to do something more dangerous... and since you have three units at a time to Ghost Master's six, with four powers to Ghost Master's up to eight, you can't really afford to waste a slot on a delay tactic). Ghost Master asked you to really think about some puzzles; even the people who thought they were such geniuses at the game they should write guides would miss things like how to remove the Stay-Cold Ice Cream Man. This holds your hand, offering step by step guides for levels that are much smaller and easier than Ghost Master. Ghost Master was rampant chaos, this is surgical strikes and dull waiting for a target to be in half light so you can use a power that isn't available in full light. Would not recommend unless it's on deep discount.
