One time my dad misread a recipe and threw several incredibly hot peppers in some curry that only needed 1 of those. It was so hot that I couldn't even taste the dish anymore, I could just taste the hotness and burning of my tongue.

I think the most spicy thing I can think of having was some tacos my grandpa made it wasn't supposed to be spicy but for some reason even though it was just the normal taco stuff it was very hard for us to finish the tacos with how spicy it turned out.

A little while ago I tried a soup that's made by Hot Ones. I saw it at Target and thought it would be cool to try and I still regret it. The soup container has the noodles, the spicy powder packet, and a sauce that says you're not supposed to use all of it, just until it's as spicy as you want it to be.

I only used haLf of the sauce packet and I couldn't finish the soup. HalfWay through I ended up throwing the rest out because it was hurting so much and two hours later I had to go to McDonald's to get an ice cream because it was still affecting me. Never again.

zanderlex : Sounds nice, I should look for it. But for real though, that must've sucked, sounds pretty spicy lol.

SonicOlmstead : Must have been weird, you think you're gonna have a normal Taco, and then it turns out to be spicy.

Furturd : I don't even know what to say about that.

I actually love spice and have been warned by multiple restaurants that "most people ask for a refund" on dishes that I don't really have a problem with. That said, I don't really push my luck too often and I don't actively seek out
the spiciest thing I possibly can.

My cousin made me try that one chip challenge (I think? it was a bag rather than the single chip in a box, but he was insistent that's what it was) and it didn't really hit me that hard. I think the closest I've come was a barbeque sauce labeled something like "dragon's breath". They said the Scoville rating was about two million I think? It wasn't that bad initially going down but it did definitely give me a stomachache for a little while. I'll also talk myself down a little bit though and say I probably didn't have the intended amount to really "feel the heat".

I don't really care much for spicy food, with sriracha being the most I will tolerate.

The spiciest thing I ate recently was a jambalaya I tried a few months ago. I'd never had jambalaya before, but whatever cayenne pepper and/or cajun seasonings they used, it was a bit too strong for my liking. I ate about 80% of it, but I couldn't bring myself to finish it. Every bite I took, all I could taste was heat. While I don't mind a little kick, if the heat/spice is overpowering, it just ruins the meal for me.
