I love that game I still play it to this day always trying new combinations out for players. they should make a new one to update the character classes of the old one like add black knight class which would be awesome.

They actually have a remake of the original for the psp. It has the Black Knight class and everything. They changed the way people speak was changed to a more old sounding style, but I basically know the story (even though I never really cared for the storyline) because I played this thing to death xD. It's called Final Fantasy Tatics: The War of The Lions.

I'm still playing the first one so I wouldn't mind if they made another, but I wouldn't really care if they did.

I'd love if they made a new tactics. I have played the psp one, but don't own it. I've spent hours and hours on the playstation one though. When FFXII came out, I noticed that hey, it takes place in Ivalice just like FFTactics, and then when they remade it for psp they added balthier. I thought that was a clever and fun idea.

Yeah i have War of the Lions for the PSP, that was the way i played Tactics in the first place. I never had a PS1 so i couldn't play any of those FF games... But yeah I loved that game. I only wish they'd make one with almost the same kind of setting instead of how FFTA had the Ivalice with the kids and the book. I loved the plot... though it was pretty hard to follow at first.

This game is one of my favorites, and yes it is fun, but I think that it has gone a little far. Final Fantasy Tactics was excellent, and the War of the Lions was a amazing remake of it. Final Fantasy Tactics Advance was decent, and was alright to play, but the Final Fantasy Advance 2 was... Dumb. I beat it, because it's my goal to beat all of them, but it was more of a chore than a fun game. Unless they can make it as good of a story as the original FF tactics, and with alot more jobs and skills, I think they should just lay off the Tactics games.
