Disney is such a large company that had they not purchased it they would have jumped on the stream bandwagon anyway. Simply because a lot of major networks are streaming and are continuing to expand. From a business perspective Disney would have been foolish not to launch Disney plus.

Groghu practically carries the service, I said this when they started purging their original content that it's worth the subscription for the Muppets content alone (and Disney won't purge Muppet content because the Muppets have a huge fan base and there would be a huge uproar if they tried)
