Do you play any games competitively? How long have you been playing? Where do you compete? Have you ever won any prizes from the events that you play in?

Personally, I have entered a single Super Smash Bros. Melee local. I won 1 single set, which was 1 set more than I was expecting to win lol.

tgags123 : Back when Hastings was still around (I miss that place.) They used to hold Tournaments for Smash 4 and used to Main Roy and Doc. These two are still some of my favorite characters to play lol

I got about 3rd Place after losing to a really good Fox, I won a few more times though never got any higher then that (These were pretty packed usually.) They sadly only really hosted these like maybe 4-5 times before they closed down in 2017.

Although some of my favorite moments was a clutch win after fighting a Bowser who nearly KO'd me, though I countered with Roy like frame perfectly and won the whole Match. The other being a friend of mine happening to be there and getting so pissed after losing that he yelled and threw his controller in frustration having him escorted out of the building. Still miss doing tournaments, although nobody really is doing Locals in my area.

I've been playing Rocket League competitively for about a year now but my skills are still pretty weak. The end of the two seasons I've been in I ended at Gold III Division 2 and Platinum is always a hair away.

There's so many aspects of how I play that I want to work on but are really difficult to improve on. Accuracy, power hitting the ball, high aerials, braking, and goaltending I need to work on really heavily, but the skill required to make every movement matter is something I just don't have yet. Send me a message if anybody wants to play though! I'm still pretty okay at the game on a good day.

I play games competitively occasionally but usually end up having to give up after a while because of time or internet stuff. But every now and then I'll find a game that I'm really good at.

The biggest example would be Smite. Way back between 2014 and 2016, there was a stretch where I was one of the top players. I went from being a regular player to ranked, to being on a team in a championship tournament in only a few months but I had to stop because of school and stuff. Then in April/May 2020 I went back in because I couldn't do anything during the pandemic and made it into a tournament team again before retiring again.

Then there was Splitgate. During the early beta seasons I was one of the top ranked players but there was a season where a ton of gameplay features and rules were changed that made the game less fun and way harder for some game modes so I haven't played since then.

I also did Pokemon Unite competitively for a little while.

I guess I could probably say that I played MLB The Show "competitively" in 2015 and 2016, depending on your definition. I didn't attend any tournaments or anything like that, but I was ranked in the top 500 on Diamond Dynasty, and I regularly placed in the top 25 in Challenge of the Week, including one week that I won it. Challenge of the Week sometimes has physical prizes, such as autographed memorabilia, but the week that I won the prize was packs and stubs for Diamond Dynasty.

I really don't play games competitively Its just not my thing.

Now with that being said, When I was younger me and my friends did play some games competitively.

I can remember when I was a part of my old church's youth group. On weekend retreats we would stay at a hosts house. Me and some of my friends played games competitively. We often competed to see who could score the most points, finish quicker and we competed against each other.

One game we played competitively was Golden Eye. We made up a placement system whoever was killed first finished last. It was an endurance and it was fun. However, my friends did not like the character I chose as I would play as oddjob.

I remember us playing Kirby games. Our competition was just to see who could finish the game the quickest.

We played several games together. Often times we made up our own system for points other times we relied on the game. It was fun and it was good times.

That is the only time I played games competitively.

Most of the games I play I just do for relaxing and enjoyment

Competitive gaming isn't really my thing, especially since 90% of the games I play are RPGs or heavily story driven. I think aside from SSBU and KoF 14 (which I've only played a handful of times), I don't really own any games that have much of a competitive scene. I do enjoy playing a multiplayer game like Super Mario 3D World, Cuphead, or Mario Party with my siblings though, but it's never super competitive or super stressful (except Cuphead, which can get pretty brutal)--I mainly play for my own enjoyment.

I don't currently play any games competitively, however I have in the past.

Back in 2020 I played on a semi-pro Paladins team called Volt Esports as the primary support. We were actually pretty damn good and we were primed to go to an event and participate in the Paladins end of year event, but then HiRez killed the pro scene and that was the end of it. It really sucked because that was the only game I've actually been really good at, and it died. I should probably give overwatch a chance but my loyalty to Paladins has prevented me from doing that.

As of right now I’m learning to play more of Street Fighter 6 since I’ve been enjoying the game as Dee Jay. Been a long time since I’ve played any game competitively and I’ve been doing well rising up the tiers on ranked. Right now on Silver and trying to at least hit diamond with Dee Jay and who knows, maybe once I learn the in and outs of the game I could be in evo hahaha (I wish)

Playing ranked on the game is not only challenging, it’s actually fun.

If you call the competitive then yes.

I play Minecraft a ton, and I used to play 8-12 hours a day. I usually play the same as well. I did play Fortnite a lot, but I never played more then 6 hours in a day. Back to the Minecraft, I played so much, that I could beat 2 Ender Dragons at once, I spent 2000+ of hours on the same world, and in total or 8000 hours, about that.

Over the last few months, I've been playing Summoners War competitively. I've been playing the game since 2016 but always focused on collecting cool summons and building them the way I wanted to instead of making them the best for each. But since I've already been playing for so long and put more than a thousand hours into the game, there's nothing left for me to do. So because of that, I began putting in the effort to build everyone correctly and to be competitive going back to the summer. Still haven't gotten anywhere significant with my team yet though.

I, technically, play iRacing competitively, as it is all competitive. I have never won any major championships, but I did win a division championship two seasons ago, and am on track to win another this season.

I am not the best, or even very good, but I enjoy the competitive aspect of it and have fun. Plus I win a few races here and there.

I've talked about beating a world champion of Pokemon VGC before so you might guess that I dabble in Pokemon competitive and you'd kind of be right as for VGC I never got into Scarlet and Violet's VGC I tried a few times but I don't like the terra gimmick so it's very off putting trying to play VGC in gen 9 I look forward to trying Champions when that releases though!

Now VGC is double battles so as for the single battle style I do play on a pixelmon server where I'm heavily involved in the competitive scene I think it would be fair to say. I started playing on the server 6 years ago and during that time have won 4 tournaments got 2nd in another 2 or 3 tournaments as well as coming 3rd or 4th quite a few times as well. Now I'm a part of the council that votes on bans and on another council that helps design the equivalent to regional forms for the server. I've also been a gym leader for most of the 6 year period on the server so being locked to 1 type or 2 types depending on the gym you are meant to lose so in my head a successful gym leader as a win rate of about 50% and I definitely was above that range with my first gym I had being dragon type. The 2nd gym I got after rejoining the gym leader team a few years ago was Psychic and Ghost type and despite me sticking with it for over 2 years and trying tons of different mons I just could not overcome the 2 types sharing a weakness to dark and after facing my co gym leader for our badge and seeing how much better his team was I asked to switch gyms because my win rate was probably below 10%. Before I switched though I did get a spot on the Elite 4 which has been one of my long time goals on the server and although I didn't get to have the Dragon/Steel spot I'd really want I've made the best of Water/Ice and have been very difficult for players to beat I would guess my win rate is above 70%. Now 5 months ago I got to switch gyms and I'm now the gym leader of the water/steel gym and in the 5 months since I am undefeated in gym battles or rechallenges (rechallenges is for a special looking version of a Pokémon where you can choose between a couple different rules to make the battle harder my choice is to use an uber because banning types is lame lol) I've now taken 31 battles and no one has gotten a badge or a rechallenge award from me but I've had some really close calls and at this point I'm kind of ready to lose one because I'm legit stressed out every time I accept a battle now because I know my long win streak is on the line which tbf no one knows about because I don't go on and be like hey guys did you know I've never lost???? But I don't want to lose so I prepare like every battle is do or die but I'd love to go back to enjoying the battles instead of just breathing a sigh of relief when I win and my streak goes on. Not to mention almost anytime I log on I have like 3+ battles thrown my way and then since most of these people I've already beat I got to remember what they tried to do how to mix up what Pokémon I bring to keep it fresh and unpredictable while also dealing with common threats like Zeraora or Kartana but I know it will end eventually and that's when I'll inform whoever beats me that they are the first to beat me since I took over the gym and then if I lose after no big deal really because my win rate is so good right now that if a bunch of amazing players show up out of nowhere oh well it's just another loss lol.

While I wasn't apart of it I also wanna mention said server won the Pixelmon World Cup that had a lot of competitive Pixelmon servers apart of it so I would say the player base is pretty good.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
