Since we know that both Street Fighter 6 and Tekken 8 are coming soon, should Namco and Capcom release their games on the arcade first? (sorry for the poorly made thumbnail)

I think that arcades are largely done for outside of Japan, where they're starting to falter a little, and while I'd definitely like to see fighting games get the arcade machine treatment due to the fight sticks being built into the machine, it would be a disservice to the overwhelming majority of people who would be playing these titles on console or PC while giving the few with arcade access the ability to see into the metagame and know what characters/combos are most effective before everybody else.

If arcades were more widespread, I'd love to see a machine of those games with either some form of online play or tournament making for local games, but I don't think it should be the first place these games are released.

Most of the fighting games I am familiar with are from the 1990's. I always thought the games were better quality when they were on gaming systems. It could just be me but sometimes the arcade games had stages cut out, and sometimes they seemed buggy concerning the graphics. The gaming system games I found to be better sound, graphics, more depth, and more stages. Basically, they were more fun to play than the arcade versions.

So based on my previous expierences I would have to say a big NO for me.

There just aren't enough places where this would work for this to be worthwhile. Not only that, but I feel like if these went onto arcades and people played them there, then maybe they wouldn't get the console versions when those release and that would hurt sales a lot.

As much as I'd love to say yes on this, no arcades are kind of a dying business. They are nowhere near as common as they use to be and often times struggle now. So few people would play them now if they did. Arcade culture much like forum culture is a lost art one people are forgetting more every year. It would be a bad move business wise not worth the parts cost to the profit margin.
