Kid Danger : I agree Charizard definitely wins because game freak loves him! I mean because half the fire starters are fighting types! Actually that last point is why I choose him to win when you can single handedly take out almost half of the fire starters your probably winning and if it can mega evolve into Mega Charizard X I think the other ones have no shot.

Chairzard does probably win as a lot of them are Fighting and none of them really pose a threat to him. I guess maybe Delphox if anything could pull something out. Unless we're going by anime rules of course, in which Charizard is practically invincible.

I mean people always go with charizard but think about this. Sure charizard has better move sets and part flying helps it gain an advantage to the fighting Fire starters but, depending on the move sets it can be difficult to face a typhlosion. Hear me out, with rock slide being a viable move against charizards 4x weakness it can be pretty devastating for the lizard to stand a chance and with earthquake can wipe out the other fire starters since they most have weak defensive stats. Aerial ace, facade and extrasensory can also help out against the fire starters since typhlosion is tied for fastest starter if I’m right? I’m not sure but overall my pick would be typhlosion

After playing Pokemon Reborn I am going with Delphox. That thing consistently destroyed 2+ pokemon on my team. After that I would go with Blaziken if it has the speed boost ability/mega evolution.

I would have figured Cinderace would be a pretty good counter considering the Libero hidden ability and its naturally high speed. This could invalidate the earthquake with good timings and could taunt it to get them stuck. Also has VERY high attack.
