Hey, so a bit of backstory. I first heard about Vizzed back in 2010 when I was really into retro gaming (Although I still am.) and I remember ditching emulators for this site because I just found it more convienent at the time.

I spent so much time with this site around 2010-11 and spent a lot of time on here playing all the classics (While using save states which is something I don't do now.) especially a lot of the GBA games I never got the chance to play as a kid. I probably last visited here some time in 2013 and only recently has this site popped into my memory and I looked it up only to go "Holy crap, this site still exists?" and I mean that as a huge compliment. Mad respect for still being up after all these years.

The site even looks the exact same way I remember it which is incredible. So yeah, this is just my salute to Vizzed for still being up. Especially in this day and age when emulators have changed and message boards being nowhere near as popular as they were back then.

But yeah I plan on re-installing the RGR plugin and play around with it since I did just remember this place. I should mention that around 2013-2020 I was a MacBook user which from what I remember the plugin wasn't Apple supported, so I kind of stopped, but now that Windows became my OS of choice again I can use it again. Not much else to say other than massive props for still being up.

It really is kind of amazing, of course things really aren't the same beyond the surface with forum culture dying out and many regulars having moved on. It's a shame that so much has been lost but the fact the site itself itself stands strong is always a beautiful sight with every revisit.

zolo : Heyo welcome back to the site I hope you don't have too much issue getting the RGR to work anymore since I know some people struggle getting it to work with the whole certain version of Firefox and everything. I also was introduced to the site through the games by my uncle when we started playing A Link to the Past together which I still need to get around to beating since I've managed to keep my save file alive years after that game was no longer playable. I hope you stick around and post some!

Welcome back, as what sonic said hope the rgr works for you and I don’t know if you noticed or not about the whole Nintendo scenario… other than that most games are still playable. Though if stick around a bit longer you can always make a few posts. Site is mostly chill these days so just enjoy your time

I think there's a flash enabled browser that could run the RGR better? But I don't really know nowadays, flash has been gone awhile. It's cool to see someone from the 2010 squad though, that's my year too.

Yoo nice to see more and more of these threads. It's sad seeing alot of the oldies are gone as well as some of the old forums but it's great the site still exists. Forums are a dying breed it seems but the rgr alone makes this place unique hopefully it never dies. I'm working on reviving myself here myself.
