Which game have you spent the most hours on and how long? Shock of all shocker mine is Minecraft, I mean did you expect anything else from the guy who spent 180 hours on the server a month for a period of time? I calculated it a few years ago but back then my playtime was around 4500 hours I'm kind of scared to recalculate it now but it's definitely overdue. After recalculating I got around 6000 hours in Minecraft which is insane I really don't even know what to make of that to be honest.

Fifa series since ‘98 road to World Cup till fifa 21. Years and years of playing the series in whole but since you said one game…fifa 20 basically playing a total of 4575 hours. 190 days I think total or something since I played it every single day with no life especially when covid struck

Edit: some hours might be due to me leaving the Xbox on when I’m asleep or at work so

I have spent hundreds and hundreds of hours playing Super Mario 64. I have done everything from beating it 100%, beating it any%, doing some wacky challenges in it, speedrunning it... and just screwing around with the controls to see what sorts of cool tricks I could do.

It became a problem to the point where some months, it'd pretty much be the only video game I'd play. I've finally gotten to the point in my life where I spend more time playing the video games I have not beaten yet. That has been a much more productive use of my gaming time. Plus, it'll give my controllers a little bit less button-spamming, which will hopefully make them not crap out this year even though I've had them for so long.

For me it's definitely Minecraft. I've probably put around 400 hours just in the Switch version alone and a couple hundred hours on the Vita version. Beyond those two, I must have put thousands of hours into the PC version since the start of 2014. It's just so easy to get lost in the game for many hours, then completely start over again.

I'd say it has to be Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. I don't keep an accurate number, but I've played it for so many hours over nearly 20 years that I'm pretty much above 500 hours in total.

Other games I've played a lot are Super Smash Bros. Brawl, which I'll probably dedicate some more time to from tomorrow on, and also the Project Cars games, the first two installments. Those have some references, in trophies or whatever, to how much time you've played them and I'm sure they're also in the several hundreds.

I'm not sure if I could have played for more hours other games which don't keep any sort of timer over all my years of gaming. Maybe Mario Power Tennis, any of the GC Mario Party games or the like could also accumulate excessive amounts of playtime.

I wonder if once I get the Switch this could change. I don't play videogames as often now and probably never will again, but bit by bit over time I could accumulate several hours spent on them too. And given the Switch's multiplayer compared to other consoles that could net me even more hours of playtime.
