The Vizzed Chat Rooms use to be a really popular feature on this site. Despite the drama that stirred in there sometimes, it helped keep the community close and alive. The cometchat chat room just never really provided what users wanted and it hasn't always worked properly either.

So my questions are: Should I get a new chat room on Vizzed? And if so, which one would be best?

I'm willing to set up just about anything as long as users are able to use it without having to signup to a separate platform. I'm also willing to invest up to US $100 if there's a really good solution that costs money.

Staff : Feedback would be great.

I have literally no knowledge about potential solutions, but I'm all down to getting a replacement for cometchat. Whenever we're on Discord each of us has their own servers and people to talk to, and not always can we pay attention to everything.

As much as I would love a new chat room, I don't think its worth investing time and money into. Yes comet chat is awful, but it works well enough for what it does.

The only issue with comet is that the netplay chat lobbies and game chat suck, but its still doable most of the time.

If theres an easy solution, hell yeah go for it, but anything that would take a lot of time and money just isn't worth it.

We have our discord server, and the old internet chat rooms have died out. I was one of the regulars in chat, and there are only a few of us left, and discord serves us well enough.

I support embedding the Discord chat. As it stands, that's pretty much the base of operations at this point, and the only really big boon I could see for a local chat outside of RGR communication is maybe a newbie stumbling in there.

If you can add Discord to the site, that would be great for computer users and should be able to get more users to check out the server. Not so sure about mobile though, It would become a pain for phone users having to go to the site and then to Discord when the app is readily available.

The thing about this is that I've never once used the new chat on the site save for the memes. The Discord server we have is a much more accessible option, as many people especially gamers have one. I see no reason to invest into a site chatting feature.

It had it's place once upon a time, but that time has unfortunately passed in my opinion.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.
