At the Pokémon Heroes base, a Red Riolu watched the monitor, her blue eyes shimmered with excitement as she watched the team over various cameras that were placed on each team member. “Well, Ms. Medic.” A Beyhem said, as he walked in with a male meowstic and an Alakazam Meowstic hybrid. “How’s the mission?” The Beyhem continued.
The red riolu looked over, her eyes sparkled with joy “Prof. Pending, Milo, Dats! This is the best thing yet!” She said, jumping for joy. The three pokemon all laughed. “Well, Omega, I see you are very excited to be a Pokemon Hero team leader.” Milo, the meowstic said, quietly.
Omega nodded. Her eyes sparkled “Hail yeah!”
Omega Medic, the Red Riolu, is a young fighter, who also loves to save lives. She is a unique red riolu, whose fur is entirely red, except for her grey legs and her grey mask. Her eyes are a sapphire blue which tends to give others hope whenever they sparkle. Omega belongs to two teams; the Pokemon Heroes and the Shadow Warriors, which both teams are very close. Despite how immature she acts, Omega is one of the best leaders anyone could ask for.
Milo Katze, the Male Meowstic, is a shy and timid young man, but he’s also a very hard worker. Growing up in a hostile environment, Milo tends to shut his emotions in, but he’s a really nice guy. He loves working with machinery and solving complex problems with Pat Pending, the Alakazam/Meowstic hybrid. His best friend and childhood friend is Dats, an alien who crashed into his room back when Milo and Dats were in their basic evolution stage. Since then, they’re irrespirable and they’re hardly away from each other.
Dats Katze, the Beyhem, has been Milo’s best friend, as he helped Milo get through the worst moments of his life. Dats is a smart alien who helps in the lab, fixing electronics and creating new inventions with Pat, and Milo. Despite being an Alien, all of Dat’s friends treat him like a family member. In fact, everyone in both the Pokemon Heroes and Shadow Warriors treat each other like family.
The three physic type pokemon all laughed. As Milo smiled and said, softly to Omega “I think the team is back.”
Omega nodded as she quickly ran out of monitor control and down to the docking bay.
“Great job, everyone!” The perky red riolu said, as she ran to the team, who were getting off the jet in the docking bay. “Mission Earthquake was quite a success! Y’all did great!” Omega said excitedly, her tail was wagging.
“Thanks Omega!” Jack said, as he walked past her and rubbed her head. Jake and Ashce then walked by her and they both gave her a formal nod as they walked past her as well. Rocky and William both walked up to Omega, as William gave her the kind eyes she loves to see. “Omega… Good luck with today.” William said.
Omega smiled and nodded. “Thank you, William.” Omega saluted the infernape “I won’t let you down!”
William and Rocky both smiled and chuckled “Come on, Omega.” William said, as they the three of them went up to mission control.
In Mission Control, Wendy was looking at a small camera on a stick, as she waved at it. “Hi mom, hi dad!” Wendy said, with a smile. The team laughed, as Pat and Milo were examining the camera.
“Mission earthquake was quite a success.” Milo said, looking at the team, as Omega and William walked in. Jake looked at Milo as he said, with a smile “The equipment is great, but these new threads are amazing.”
“Hey, Milo, maybe you should put mirrors on the cameras for the pretty boy over there.” Omega said, smirking. Jake gave Omega a quick frown before laughing with everyone else. Suddenly a soccer ball went flying through the air, over Omega’s head, and towards William’s feet. Rocky laughed, as he said to William “Nothing like a little game of soccer to help you unwind!”
“Yup.” Omega said, as she suddenly kicked the ball away from William, a smug grin on her face. “Hey!” William said, surprised, as Omega started kicking the ball with her knees.
“Playing soccer indoors? What would your mother say?” Ariel ask, with fake admonishment. Omega and Rocky both replied, excitement in their voices. “She’d probably say ‘GOAL!’” The team all laughed.
Suddenly, an alarm went off, startling the team. The ball dropped on the ground, as a chatot appeared on a screen. “Hello? Can you hear me?” Chatot asked.
“Loud and clear, Chatot.” William said. “What’s wrong?”
“Well, we got a report from the Oricorio sisters that they spotted a noivern falling towards the Sangay Volcano after it erupted.” Chatot said, as he flapped his wings.
Chatot is almost like a commander for the various teams, like the Pokemon Heroes and the Shadow Warriors. Chatot is also the head intelligence for the Wigglytuff guild, one of the commanding guilds. He’s often hot headed and yells a lot. However, he is a good pokemon and his kind heart is what keeps the guilds together. He also stresses a lot, but he hides it…sometimes
“The Oricorio sisters? You mean the lovely troupe of women?” Rocky asked.
“Yes. Well, never mind the details, Rocky. You guys need to help that noivern!” Chatot demanded.
William nodded. “Omega, this is your first mission of being a leader. What’s your first order?” William asked. Omega looked at Wendy and Rocky and said “Wendy, Rocky, mission volcano! Let’s go!” She said, as she, Rocky and Wendy raced out of the door. But William stopped her “Oh, Omega. I know you want to be like me… but please, don’t injure yourself.”
“Don’t jinx it, Billy!” Omega scowled, as she took off.
William chuckled as he looked at the others, the smile on his face soon faded. “I have to go myself.”
Milo nodded “Be kind to our leader, William. And please don’t hurt your brother.”
William nodded as he walked out the door.

Kaycee slowly crawled out of Tony’s mouth. She was a bit disorientated and sore but she was fine. “T-tony?” She weakly asked, as she looked around to see where she was. She looked behind her to see the giant noivern’s left wing was crushed by a boulder. “TONY!” Kaycee shouted as she tried to push the boulder away from his wing. However, the tiny pachirisu couldn’t even budge the large rock off of Tony’s wings. Finally, Tony came to as he groaned. “K-Kaycee?” He asked.
“Tony!” Kaycee shouted, crying, as she hugged Tony’s fluffy neck “You’re alive!”
Tony smiled as he tried to get up, but the bolder prevented any movement of his wing. He sighed as he looked at Kaycee. “Kaycee… can you use Electro ball in the sky?” Tony asked. Kaycee nodded as she ran up tony and used electro ball on the sky. “I hope this will alert someone.” Tony said.

In the sky, in the Plane, Wendy was in her anthro form, piloting the plane, while Omega and Rocky were seated. Rocky smiled “Hey Omega, do you think I should be the team leader of this mission, I mean my middle name is Lava.”
Omega chuckled, as Wendy asked Rocky “I thought it was Milhouse?”
Rocky looked away, embarrassed. “Well… It should be Lava.”
Omega shrugged as she smiled “Better Milhouse than Ella.”
Wendy gasped as she saw the electro ball, dissipating in the air. “I got them, I’m going in.” She said put the plane in a dive. Suddenly the plane got dark, as Omega’s eyes sharpened. “This is the worst dust storm I’ve seen.” She said, looking at the dust. Suddenly, the plane’s instruments went wacky, surprising Wendy. “Huh? That’s odd.” She said. Omega glanced at the instruments then at the dust. “There must be something in the dust that is making the plane go wild… We should do a vertical ascend and rescue that Noivern.” Omega said, as she got up. Rocky nodded as he got up and followed her.

Kaycee was perched on the boulder on Tony’s wing when she saw the plane in the distance. “Tony! I just saw a plane! I think it’s coming down. How do you feel?” She asked, as she jumped off the bolder and onto Tony’s face. The Noivern caught the little squirrel with his horn and smiled. “I’m fine, Kaycee… Though my wing hurts… I wish Gnist was here.” Tony said, with a sigh. “…Although, I have to say, being pinned by a rock is better than being chased out of your own village by a corrupt egg-stealing leader.” Kaycee’s happy personality soon fizzled away when Tony said those words. Tony tried to reignite her spunk “Although, being accepted by a kind woman such as Munja is the best part.” He said with a smile.
Kaycee smiled as she hugged Tony’s face. “Thanks Tony.” Kaycee said.

At the base of the volcano, the jet had landed, and Omega and Rocky had climbed quite a bit of the volcano. Rocky was leading the way in his Dusk Lycanroc form, which made it easier for him to climb up the volcano. Omega, on the other hand, was stuck in her red riolu form, as she slowly and carefully climbed up the volcano. Rocky looked down at the cautious red riolu as he shouted at her. “Omega, I got two questions.” Omega looked up at Rocky, as shouted at him “Yes?”
“Question one, are you doing okay?” Rocky asked, concerned for the young woman. Omega nodded in response. “I’m fine, Rocky. What’s question number two?”
“Is your camera on? Because I want footage of the exact moment I became a team leader.” Rocky said, with a wink. Omega sighed as she and Rocky continued climbing the volcano.

Tony heard Omega and Rocky talking as he perked his ears up. “Kaycee, someone is climbing the volcano, go see who it is!” He said. Kaycee nodded as she ran off of his snout and peaked over the ledge. She waved her arms and tail, shouting loudly. “We’re up here! My brother is stuck under a rock!” she shouted, as Tony gave a slight smile. Tony knew that he and Kaycee weren’t really siblings, but the others at the news crew called them siblings. Some even called them siblings.

Rocky looked up and saw Kaycee, as he nodded “Don’t worry, help is on the way!” Rocky shouted. As Omega and Rocky continued climbed, they were now under an overhang, which wasn’t far from Tony and Kaycee. Rocky wagged his tail, as he turned into his Midnight form. “Awesome! An overhang. I’ll be up and over this in no time!” Rocky said. Omega slowly caught up, as she clung onto a rock. “Rocky, wait. Riolus aren’t meant for climbing overhangs, let me put on the spiked gloves.” Omega said, as she pulled out a pair of gloves, with claws on the outside, which made it easier for pokemon without claws to climb any surface. However, Rocky ignored Omega. “No time to put the gloves on, I’ll go on ahead!” Rocky said, as he climbed under the overhang. Omega quickly put on both gloves and followed Rocky, shouting at him “ROCKY! WAIT!”
Omega lost her balance on the rocky wall as she slipped and fell. She shrieked in fear, as she fell down the volcano, trying to grab a rock to cling onto. She scraped her left leg on a rock that had a strange, thorny plant growing on the rock. Eventually her rope stopped her fall, causing Rocky to nearly fall off the edge that he was climbing on. “WOAH!” Rocky shouted. Kaycee, who was watching the whole thing, gasped as she fearlessly scampered down to where Rocky was and pulled him up. After Rocky was up on the ledge with Kaycee, he and the pachirisu pulled Omega up. “HOLD ON, OMEGA!” Rocky shouted, as the red riolu held on her rope, her breathing was shaking. Soon, the Red Riolu was close to Rocky and Kaycee where they offered her a paw. “Omega!” Rocky said. Omega looked up and took his paw. Rocky pulled Omega up on the ledge and took a quick breather.
“Hurry!” Kaycee said, as she ran up to where Tony was. “My brother is trapped up here!” She said. Rocky and Omega nodded as they ran to the wall and climbed up to where Tony was. Tony looked up, happy to see the two rescuers. Rocky and Omega walked up to the bolder, as Omega looked at it. She then looked at Rocky, as she said, with a nod “On the count of three, we’ll both use Rock Smash.” She said, as the two charged up a move. “One… Two… THREE!” She counted, as Rocky and Omega slammed their paws against the bolder, shattering it. A bright glow surrounded Tony as he turned into a Noibat. “Thanks.” Tony said, as Omega picked up the noibat.
Kaycee scampered onto Omega’s head as Rocky and Omega were walking towards the edge of the cliff, when they heard the sound of a jet. Wendy piloted the Plane next to the ledge, as the hatch open. “Hurry!” Wendy shouted. Omega and Rocky nodded as they jumped onto the wing and hurried inside the plane.

Inside a medical bay of the plane, Omega was tending to Tony’s wounds, while she was sitting down at the examination table, as Kaycee was cracking up puns to Rocky. “But I then pointed to the metal bird and said ‘That was plane and simple.’” Rocky chuckled at Kaycee’s pun. However, Omega and Tony groaned in disappointment. Omega looked at Tony and said softly. “Take it easy on your wings for a bit, Tony. It’s not a serious wound, but please try not to fight with any other Pokémon.” She said. Tony nodded as he tried to fly on his injured wing. “Thanks… but what about you and your injury?” Tony asked, as he glanced down at Omega’s bloody leg. Omega smiled, as she crossed her injured leg across her lap and started tending to her wound. “I’ll do fine, Tony. I just need to clean it when we get back.” Omega said.
Kaycee looked at Rocky, excited, as she pulled out her camera and pointed it at Rocky. “So, Rocky.” She started, “What is it like to be famous for saving lives?” She asked. Omega was done tending to her wound as she got up and walked past Rocky, giving him a deadly look, as she spoke to him in a scary voice. “Rocky, I wish to speak to you later.” She then left the medical bay and walked up to Wendy who was piloting the plane out of Ecuador. She glanced at Omega’s leg. Worried about the young riolu, she asked. “Omega, are you okay?”
Omega nodded. “I’m fine. This is nothing compared to fighting corrupt Pokémon. This feels like a magikarp bite compared to getting burnt by a Volcanonion.” Omega said, as she hid her pain from Wendy.

No one knew what was going to happen next, as storm clouds, outside, chased the plane. Or it seemed like that. There was even a worse surprise within these storm clouds… a terrible electrical storm soon awaited them.
