Davideo7 : Yay it's that random Viz bonus again! I wonder how it will go for me this time.

Indeed the year has been very sadly dominated by covid for the majority of the duration, around march I believe?

Speaking of which Davideo7, do you know what the traps on vizzed do? I've been getting them quite a lot and I catch people with them, but what's the significance of doing so if possible?

I hope we can all finish the year with a bit of a heads up. We deserve it, for all we've had to endure and probably for what's to come too. And also one last merry christmas to our beloved plugin, which won't see a new year roll by once flash is killed off.

I'm curious about the fate of the plug in, though. If we have a game going on right now, is our save data somewhere in that hidden AppData folder? Like will I be able to continue where I left off either in a new java-based emulator or is my data tied to the flash plug in on this site?

Or should I just switch focus to completing this game before year's end? lol

DoctorDB : I don't have much knowledge about this stuff, but I do know that each emulator has its own save file when played on the plugin, so I think it's safe to admit any progress made when playing with the plugin-based emulators will be lost.

Kind of a bummer, really, but that's just how things go. We'll have to go through all our games again, if they are still playable. Or wait and hope if we can get an emulator for flash that allows us to keep using the plugin and recover our save files, which doesn't seem feasible in the short term I'm afraid.

EX Palen : Appreciate the response. I suspected as much but the extra details for confirmation is always nice. Thankfully I didn't get THAT far in my playthrough but it'll still be a shame to lose that file. I had even gotten Roy to level up a few points in Strength, which the internet says is unheard of lol. Here's hoping for an eventual port to Switch since Fire Emblem has picked up in popularity
