It's December, which means it's time to start checking for interest in another National Posting Day.

I've hosted two posting days so far, 1/7/19 and 1/4/20 and were both pretty successful.

Are users interested in bringing it back for a 3rd day? I'm thinking of doing it on 1/2/21 if people want it. Right now, I'm thinking the grand prize would be based on the number of posts a user made, instead of a flat prize in case there's only a small amount of posts.

I'm thinking something like the user with the most posts that day gets 10,000 Viz per post up until 1 million or whatever.

And I might even try to get other prizes like Switch games and other stuff.

I think it will do good for the site to have another posting day. Not sure if I can actually participate with everything going on, but as long as we do have the interest we should attempt to host it.

I'd delay the date, however. Next year the first weekend comes way too early, so I'd postpone it to somewhere between 8th-10th. As for the prizes, I agree they should be based in amount of posts to further promote competition.

EX Palen : True but in many places, the following weekend is going to be people back in school. Not as many people will be as fully active as they would on a holiday weekend.

If I'm not mistaken, either last year or the year before, there were already 2 people with 100 post days before Posting Day even began.

Date: Saturday January 9th (This can be changed to the 8th if a Friday afternoon/Evening sounds better for people.

Prizes: The only prize that's currently set in stone is that every user who makes ta least 50 posts throughout the day will get 50,000 Viz.

Later on, the plan is to add more prizes for different accomplishments such as most posts and threads, and maybe some gift cards.

I will be free after lunch that day, so I could contribute something to the activity since the days prior I'll be away and busy. Not a challenger for the biggest prize as I've never been an avid poster, but I'll make sure to drop my two cents.

We will definitely get an announcement for this, any contest or site-related event is worth the promotion. If we can get more prizes or side competitions it will also help in attracting more people to it, hopefully you'll come up with something soon.

I'm hoping to come up with a couple extra events and prizes but time is starting to run out, I want to have everything set in stone by Friday night at 8PM, so less than 48 hours to finalize everything and promote it.
