A few very useful updates!


Game Queue
You can now add games in the Retro Game Room to a "Queue" so that you remember to play it later. There have been so many games I've come across while browsing the RGR that I had planned to play later but forgot about. I also get recommendations from friends so it'll be nice to have a place to keep track of what I plan to play.

The option is near the game rating details on a game's page. The game will remain in your queue until you click the link to remove it. Your Game Queue will appear in the 'Your Links and History' section of your User HUD and of the site's index page (more info on that below).


Game History
Every time you play a game now, it gets added to a permanent game history (the previous "Game History" only kept track of the last few games you played and had no other features). It'll also keep track of which emulator you played the game, which I'll utilize later (eventually the 'Play Game' window will remember your last selected option).

Your most recent games and your most played games will appear in the 'Your Links and History' section of your User HUD and of the site's index page (more info on that below).


'Your Links and History' Rearrangement
This is one of the widgets that appear in your user HUD by default (unless you removed it). I organized it quite a bit and made it look cleaner. I also made it more useful by having it now show your Game Queue, Game History, and Top Played Games. The order of the content depends on what part of the site you're on (if you're in the RGR for example, the games will appear first).

I also embedded this widget to the site's index so that users who have no room for a User HUD or have removed their User HUD can still benefit from this.

Adding games to a queue on my Wii U would've helped me play more of them instead of letting them sit on a shelf for several years At least I've been playing more of them now.

I just took a peek at the "Your Links and History" page and it's so neat! It's interesting to see which pages I have viewed on the site the most.
