I'd like to record some sound effects from the Megatouch games, but I'm not sure how recording just audio works in the Retro Game Room.

Can anybody help me out? I don't think it should be too hard at all, but I'd still like to know how it's done. Keep in mind, I don't want to record video, just audio. I'm intending on using them for a Frontend... if I can figure out how to attach the sounds to the Frontend, that is.

As far as I know, there isn't any built-in audio recorder. You could always use third-party software and have it record your Stereo Mix, though it would capture any other audio from your desktop as well.
