So I keep getting IP ban at random times I don’t know what the issue is but it all started when I went to leggy’s profile by accident (when he responded to me on pokemon x thread about making leggy admin.) After that I get random bans that last for a few minutes to a whole day I don’t know if it’s my internet, servers here or ads but uhm yeah. I do have a few pics I shown to furret that’s about I guess

becerra95 : It happened to me once as well, I think it might happen when you go through the sites pages to quickly as that's when it happened to me.

Kinda annoying as i use the buttons on my mouse to go forward and back pages as well, but after i stopped doing that it seemed to be alright with not ip banning me lol

I remember there being a feature that keeps you from loading too many pages too quickly.

I think it was a feature to limit the damage a DOS attack could do? It was a really long time ago that it was implemented.

It was explained a while back in our top secret chat after Furret brought it up to David and I had assumed you knew the explanation... something like David's script/bot had been logging into everyone's account during the recovery process, and it may have tripped a few of the temp IP bans (as David's account can't trip the temp IP net), which landed on your account rather than your IP since it's logged into you at that moment in time. The explanation may not be entirely accurate, it's just what I remember.

More importantly, have you had it happen recently? The recovery process is finished so it shouldn't happen anymore.

I find it more odd that you say it bans you for a whole day almost sometimes. The one time this happened to me lasted like 10-15 minutes

It has happen to me twice today in the morning. One around 10:05 but it was at a portion of the site. Then 10:18 got banned for a few minutes trying to check the announcements but that’s about it. Did sent a pic to furret in the morning of that portion. Hasn’t happened to me since then
