So the battle royale age seems to be coming to an end, or has it already? Let's reminisce on which ones were the best or which ones you preferred. Me personally, I really liked the beginning of Fortnite's life when the building wasn't meta at the time. I switched to Realm Royale and I've really enjoyed that because its made my the same people who made Paladins. I dabbled with BO4 and Ring of Elysium but they came and went. What about you guys?

Haha I completely forgot that even existed. But yeah the people that play battle royale games can be very toxic at some point. Maybe you should check out cuisine royale. Its a bit unorthodox and funny lol

Personally I don't like Battle Royale games and the only that excites me is APEX Legends but I haven't found time to play it yet. But I think there is a lot of people who play them, and they probably enjoy it. In my opinion there's a problem with this type of games, that it's hard to come up with some fresh, good ideas, so i don't see many new (good) battle royale games coming, and it may also be hard for existing games to stick players with them. Only time will tell.

pawlaso : I've tried to play APEX in bursts. I just can't seem to get my aim to be more accurate. Which is weird because my aim on the new COD is really good. Maybe its because of the pressure to stay alive because I don't want to get sent back to the lobby and star from scratch again. On a side note, if you want to add me as a friend we can talk games outside of the thread!

I enjoy Fortnite on and off and I like watching people play Apex Legends. No matter what happens to the genre as a whole, those two are going to stand tall for years.

I got dragged into playing Fortnite with my cousin for a few weeks but I never really was crazy about the battle royal format but thinking about it I have played some Minecraft battle royals which honestly cracks me up that it even exists. I guess I would feel kinda bad for everyone who enjoys them but I've just never really had a good exp with anyone who's heavily into them so I'm bias.

sonicmcmuffin : I feel ya there, never really got into the battle royale genre. The only one i kinda like is tetris99, but even with that game; it feels like there is way too much luck involved. I mean, against 99 other players, the possibilites of what could happen to you are endless. I played a small bit of fortnite when it first came out, you know; before it became mainstream and turned into cancer, lol. But even then, i would die 90% of the time not even having had a chance to defend myself. I'd always get either sniped or jumped.
