I could have sworn that there was a thread like this and I was looking for it to post in but all I could find were ones for specific years or ones that have been closed forever, so here's a new one.

What are you trying to accomplish on Vizzed whether short term or long term?

For me, as of today, I have a number of goals that I want to work towards.

I'm trying to pass legacyme3 in posts, hopefully this year.

I want to reach 2,000 total threads this year.

I'd love to cross 150K CP this year

For a long term goal, I want to reach 2 million words.


What about you?

I'm not too sure exactly about long term goals since I mainly make them up as I go along and I usually set small goals. I would say that this TdV I would probably like to get blue and white overall since I really like the colour combo and I think that it would be pretty neat. I also want to reach 1K posts before sonic since he made it his goal to get to 1k posts before me. I would also like to get up to 200,000 Viz for now and 5,000cp. I feel like those are pretty fair enough goals so wish me luck I guess. XD

While I have attained most of my goals already, I think I could still set a few ahead of me.

I'd totally love to reach one million words. That's the only really big goal pending on my list, and I'm creeping closer to it. If I can get myself back to writing guides, I may perfectly be able to reach that during the present year, but we'll have to see what ends up happening with real life.

Another big goal of mine is passing David in CP, even if it's just temporarily. Whatever the field, passing the owner himself is an incredible accomplishment, so I want to pursue it while I still can. My pace isn't that much higher than his, so once again my guides and what not will have to come to my rescue before it's too late for me to close the gap.

I don't think I have other goals in mind. Maybe the only one would be being the user with most guides posted, not to brag or anything but just to be the confirmation of my continued dedication and hard work. I barely have anything else in sight or even remotely possible, so I guess that's pretty much it for me.

My main goal in terms of stats is to break 2,000,000 words. I am already almost there. I only need a month's worth of posts, essentially, if I ever decide to go wild like I'm known for.

My secondary goal, I guess, is 27,500 posts. I don't think 30k is ever happening for me.

For 2020 I want to hit 7500 posts at least and get to 60.000 CP. My original goal was 50.000 but that seems closer than I had anticipated so I'll up it a bit to give myself a challenge. I'd liiike to get to 500.000 words but I'm not sure how realistic that one is.

End goal is 10k, 100k and 1 mil, for posts/CP/words respectively. The latter especially will be near impossible but who knows.

My main goal here on Vizzed is to try and get my words per post average up at least 100 words, and by which, I'm going to try and get to posting game reviews once again, maybe going for most wordiest user of the year, but I highly doubt I get that goal, but never say never.

Another thing I like to achieve this year is passing 7,500 posts, but since I'm more of a wordy guy than a posty guy, I don't think I will accomplish that, but you never know.

For me my main goal since I signed up and started actively started posting was 1000 posts because I just figured 1000 was a good number for this sort of thing whenever I reach that goal I have no idea where I would set my next one because to be honest I haven't really thought that far ahead. I guess another goal I would wanna go for at some point would be getting admin on the site which is crazy for me to type but I always will wanna do as much as I can for the site while always aiming higher. In other areas when it comes to CP I just wanna hit 10k that's enough for my tastes personally Oh! and I also wanna hit 1mil Viz at some point.

SonicOlmstead : I'm gonna help you out with your journey to 1 million.

Once you get to 10K CP, the rest will be much easier once you get the next multiplier.

my only goal is to post at all. i tend to forget to check vizzed which leads me to not posting, hopefully i can get up to posting once or twice a day

The database collapse put a big dent into my plans and I don't see myself getting anywhere close to 150K CP by the end of the year. 140K seems more reasonable now. Activity has also been dropping so I'll probably have to aim a little lower for my overall post goal, maybe 2K or 3K for the year seems like a safe bet now.

To me my main goal is for the higher ups not to like overlook me just because of my behavior (chat rooms old and new) and lack of activity here on this site. I do want to participate in local mods sometime in the future to see how it works out for me but also maybe, just maybe be a tad more active here in this site, under a positive light of course
