Hi! I decided to make a thread on this as I am sure most people know about the upcoming film by now. if not....you've been living under a rock! well the live action wasnt goood at firs the first trailer was horrible when I mean horrible is the design sonic at the time wasnt good. he didnt look like sonic! it looked like more like Sanic!. So Paramount Heard the fans loud and clear they also redesign sonic and boy the new trailer was better! sadly something happen to the stuideos who redesgin sonic and bring him back to life. I'm not sure whats happening now as I havent gone to update myself on it. I just hope the film is good my only unhappyness is that tails and the rest of the sonic team are not there! I was expecting at least Tails to be in this movie but...who knows. again I am going with an open mind.This film is coming out in Feburary next month. I love for the fact that jim is the villan lollll. I really hope its going to be good. just a reminder not only kids are going but the sonic fans who played megadrive back in the day will also be there.

I don't know if I will be going to see it or not since even though they changed it (which I will credit them for this since I have never seen anyone actually redo a character before due to backlash since even if many got backlash for something more times than not they don't do anything about it) mostly just because I am not really that big of a sonic fan in the first place but I am looking forward to seeing more information come out about it and I am also keeping an open mind so maybe I will be pleasantly surprised!

While I welcome the redesign and the overall funny flow of the movie, I'm quite away from going to cinemas so I'll most probably wait until it hits the TV.

I'm looking forward to it, because it does look promising. I'm particularly interested in Eggman's character development and how he gets his trademark mustache as he battles the fastest thing alive. And the power of rings is also something that intrigues me, will we get to see Super Sonic by the end of the film?

I do understand that some fans dislike the fact only Sonic and Eggman are on the cast, but well, it's not like the movie is inspired in the videogames either. I wish more characters could be introduced, though imagine if instead of just one bad design we had like a dozen of them. Still, I hope we can get to see more characters of the Sonic universe in live action in the near future.

I will watch the movie not sure if I'll make it to the theaters when it first comes out however, the improvements alone to Sonic makes it something I gotta watch but I probably would of saw it even if he kept that awful first design.
