Ever watch any Westerns?

I've never been a huge fan of Westerns, but I've come across a couple over the years. I watched The Magnificent Seven during its last run in theaters, and saw Bone Tomahawk when I went pining for horror flicks.

But the only Westerns I've been partial to are from Tarantino. Particularly The Hateful Eight and Django Unchained. They're pretty much my two favorite films by him, I absolutely love them.

Have you seen any Westerns, and would you call yourself a fan?

While I wouldn't consider myself much of a tv guy or movie person I have seen some westerns from my grandpa watching them and they were all pretty entertaining though if I was alone I doubt I'd ever randomly decide "Hey I'm going to watch a western" so I can't really consider myself much of a fan of them.

I also like the Tarantino movies as well as Cowboys and Aliens, though obviously that's a mix. Other than that I'm not too big of a fam of them unless there's a ton of action.

I don't really have any preference for or against the setting, but I've seen a couple movies I thought were good. True Grit and High Plains Drifter. I haven't seen any of the Tarantino westerns, but I've thought about checking them out. I've seen only a couple other Tarantino films and they were definitely something else.

The closest to watching a western that I have ever been would have probably when I got around to watching Rango, which now that I think about it probably is not a good sign for me. XD
