Have you ever gotten something from a celebrity?

You know, whether it's an actor, YouTuber, musician, writer. Did you ever receive something, whether personalized or not such as a prop, memorabilia, something personal?

I thought about this because I've been thinking about guitars a lot lately. A couple years ago I went to a Heffron Drive concert at Webster Hall. One of the 2 members of Heffron Drive is Kendall Schmidt, who was a member of Big Time Rush.

I got a Heffron Drive guitar pick from him and I still have it and plan on using it if I ever get a guitar but it's a bit faded now.

zanderlex : Depends what you consider a celebrity but I do have some custom made poembooks from a rapper here in Minneapolis who passed away.

I've also met Brock Lesnar on several occasions and I had him sign a UFC 3XL glove and an 8x10 with his name along with his book. It was at a meet and greet at the Mall of America.

I got a handshake from Maggie De Block, who is infamous on the internet for being our Minister of Health despite being obese herself. Despite that she's actually one of the more beloved politicians in our country and she jokes about the whole situation herself.

Saw her in a VIP room for the premier of a successful live theatre show about World War II. I had seen the World War I prequel with my high school class and this time my dad got VIP tickets for him, myself and my grandfather from his work, so we all went. My grandfather had a lot of memories from the war so he found it really touching and loved to share the experience with his son and grandson <3

I've met authors, specifically the author of Far World Scott Savage. In elementary back in like...2009 or so? He came to my school for a little thing on the importance of reading and all that. Didn't get anything, but it was pretty cool, even got me into reading his books, didn't finish them or get as attached to them as say the Warriors books by Erin Hunter.

I've gotten a handshake and a personally written message alongside a signature from Chris Barrie when I went to a convention in London one time, the wait was worth it though and it was great finally being able to meet him. I mainly know him from his role in Red Dwarf as one of the main characters.

Me and a friend of mine, we both received a signed copy of the album Salam from Ras Muhamad (an internationally known reggae artist from Indonesia). We helped him to get into touch with the organizers of a Hungarian reggae festival, which resulted in his first concert in Hungary (later follwed by many). So he gave us the CDs as a gesture of thanks for our involvement.

When I was a toddler, I was taken to a KISS concert and was fairly close to the stage. The band took notice and was tossing picks and t-shirts my way. Didn't get any of it because the rest of the crowd dove in on everything, but it's the thought that counts.

I have a couple pictures with and a couple signed tickets from G. Gordon Liddy. As in the guy from the Watergate scandal.

I shook hands with Fred Thompson, who was on Law and Order and was a U.S. Senator, when he was running for president, if that counts.
