Just wondering if anyone out there plays FFTCG? I've been playing for about a year now. Started at OPUS IV. I wish I had more time to play.

I'm really bad at deck building and am always looking for good deck building tips. I'm hoping to one day be good enough to play with the competitive players. Not that I do tourneys or anything, but it would be fun to be a the level of competitive playing.

ff_freak : So I'm assuming it's very strategic based? The thing I've always liked about the Pokemon Card Game was how much strategy it required. I kinda wish the battle system in the Pokemon games had some of the mechanics from the card games because the battles sometimes get a little boring and redundant but if they had more strategy, they'd be far more fun.

Yeah, it involves tons of strategy and really looking for the right play lines to best your opponent, but there are sooo many deck building options and card combos. There's no right or wrong answer and no 1 deck that is the "best" like in MTG. We spend hours each week playing and jamming games at my local shop.

I had no idea that this was a thing but after reading the stuff in the link that David posted, I became moderately interested. The card browser didn't work for me though, it would have been cool to be able to see some of the cards on their site. I'm already into MTG, Pokemon, and Yugioh, so one more shouldn't be a problem for me.
