Did anyone hear TOOL's new song "Fear Inoculum"? If so, what were your thoughts?

I was wondering if anyone heard TOOL's new single "Fear Inoculum". I listened to it a few days after it dropped and I was blown away. I thoroughly enjoyed the song and have been listening to it on an almost daily basis. It reminds me a lot of past TOOL music and hits a lot of cues I was hoping for. I think they did a phenomenal job on it and I look forward to what they have coming next. What are your guy's thoughts on the new song?

Uhhhhhhhhh...YEAH!I can't believe no one has replied to this yet! You simply don't know what you're missing if you haven't heard this song. I've been waiting for this whole album, actually, for a loooooooong time...just like about every other Tool fan out there lol

But yeah, I believe this single came out right before the album did, and I saw it on You Tube so I took a listen. Then I listened to it again...and again...and so on. I'm a HUGE Maynard fan, and I've listened to everything from Tool, A Perfect Circle, and Puscifer. This song (well the whole album, really) is definitely a TOOL song, and I'm very happy that Tool is back!

I was a big fan of Lateralus and 10001 but this one didn't hit me right. I really enjoyed the grinding progression in the title track, but overall it feels like they've figured out the Tool formula and on this album they're riding it out.

I'm stoked they're back and hope it doesn't take another decade for new stuff.
