Super Mario 64. It revolutionized the gaming world. Great graphics for its time, taking place in a seemingly endless world where you could spend countless hours just enjoying the land. I would even give it a high replay value, which I couldn't bring myself to give to half of mario's other titles.

Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars is my favorite Mario game because it is so fun. It is just a great game, where you lvl. up you character, making them stronger and better, and seeing them do great.

It is so a great game, that I really want another Mario Rpg game, but with Sonic, Mega Man, and all the great heroes.

My 2nd favorite game is Super Mario 3. It was an awesome and EPIC game.

I would say Super Mario Sunshine because I grew up with that game and I had loads of fun playing it. The worlds were really big and had many great challenges, improving from Super Mario 64. It seems weird that Mario has this water gun on his back, but it is an epic game.
