Google Stadia is Google's hat they've decided to throw into the ring. It's basically a cloud gaming service, that lets you play games on any screen, without having to download anything. Think, really nice flash games. Clearly, this is different from those, but it'll feel similar.
They're offering a really nice controller, that has a little microphone, so they can spy on you. (Probably.) They plan to have games specifically developed for Stadia. Which means no one will ever own them.

What do you think about this? I know it's old news, but no one brought it up, so I figured I ought to.

I'm gonna make a disclaimer here by saying I haven't actually tried it, but even the thought of game streaming is gross and almost even insulting. I also hate digital copies of games in general.

Lemme get this straight... I'm supposed to pay full price for a game regardless for how long it's been released, not actually even own the game and can't resell it if I want to, it has no collectible value, I can't access the library I PAYED FOR without also having some kind of subscription to their service and then I can't actually have any kind of an enjoyable experience unless I have expensive internet service?


There doesn't exist a vulgar phrase that adequately expresses how I feel about that concept as a whole.
