I've been posting a bit about myself lately and forgot to mention what I've been up to lately.  In July of last year I started practicing speedrunning Splinter Cell Conviction and since then I ended up taking the 5th place spot on the speedrun.com leaderboards.  If you want to check out my twitch channel where I may end up streaming again soon then here you go- https://www.twitch.tv/nakina4

There was a point in time that I as well tried to get into speedrunning, but it's not really my thing. Maybe because I like to take my time with games that I really like, plus I can't stand the thought of doing really good and then having to start over because you messed up a frame perfect jump or RNG brings you down. I don't have the patience for that, lol.

Good luck to you otherwise! I don't use Twitch, but maybe once in a while I'll stop by and see if you're up to anything.

I love watching speedrunners play games that I tend to sit through playing them casually, and then destroying every single part of it in order to save time. It breaks my heart every time they don't read dialogue or skip a cutscene but I also find it very intriguing how much people can dissect games. They know exactly when the speedrun can be saved and when you need to restart, it's honestly impressive.

I tried doing a speedrun once and I have decided that I suck at it. The closest I can come to a speedrun is to play a VS of a Pokemon game, where you have to complete the game before your friend/opponent while in nuzlocke mode. I've had some wild stories with those haha.

Also I'll check your twitch channel out every now and then

I can't stand speedrunning myself. I tried it a couple times with my favorite games and then I went to YouTube and found that there are people who beat the game in like 1 10th the amount of time as me. Plus I realized that it took away from the exploring and other aspects in some games so I gave up on speedrunning.

I'll see if I can check it out when I get a chance.
