Zeldisaster : Sorry if my comment was offending at all but I was also trying to point out the irony in what was said.

I could rant about certain things that annoy me too, like women who get abused and cry about it but stay with their abuser. Or people waving their gender or sexual preference rights around in public and making fools of themselves because they are "different" and feel oppressed. Or religious people saying so and so are going to hell for not going to church every sunday. Or getting called racist simply because so and so is white. Or if you are a certain political affiliation you are anti-american. Or if you say something not PC and get fired from your day job because of it. Or all those men and woman using dating apps to cheat on their significant others. And those people on facebook... posting photos of themselves, their families and relationships for the world to see. They post photos of them smiling and all happy but in real life they are not happy they are depressed and their relationships are in shambles. Maybe they do it to feel important? To see how many fake "online friends" they can have? Everyone wants to be a celebrity... even celebrities want to become more famous, have joined twitter and rant their opinions on there.

The internet gives everyone a voice they would not have otherwise. I think if we all shared our real beliefs, we'd all be banned from vizzed and the internet as well as fired from our jobs

Zeldisaster : We try to not be strict with users when we don't need to be. I don't see any harm in liking others posts. If anything it might encourage people to post more

Although stating your opinions is of course fine, I suggest maybe giving some time to look over what you say first so it is not misinterpreted to mean something other than what was intended. This will typically help you get across your point more effectively as well. The fact that you are willing to make a distinction in the case of transsexual individuals was not something that seemed to be case when first reading over your post.

The group of people who claim they are transsexual for attention, without any intent of having a procedure can to some extent be problematic. However the problem with targeting those people is that it often results in harm for those who do indeed wish to make transistion rather than that particular subset.

It is also worth noting that there is a difference between transsexual people and transvestites. The latter are simply people who try to dress based on what is associated with the other sex. Many of these, praticularly drag queens still consider themselves male, and may even be doing it for reasons unrelated to their sexuality, such as cultural or religious reasons. In Japan for example, crossdressing is very common within various entertainment industries and is often seen as completely separate from the actual identity of the person in question.

NovemberJoy : I actually prefer the impulsive response, it feels more genuine. As I told tgags123, I wrote the woman rant when I was 18/19 and it isn't that I thought women haven't already figured it out, it's that my mindset was basically "shouldn't you be used to this by now?" For the second point, yes the assumption is that the Christian word is the true intent of whatever God that may or may not exist; I pointed that out because if every word in that book is true, and it details how a person could ascend after life, then why should a person have to buy the instruction manual for that? Surely the government could eat the cost of a book I can currently buy at a $0.99 store. Btw I never equated all furries to bestiality, those were two separate sentences. Hence why I started the bestiality line with "Even more insane if..." but the fact that I detail one right after the other WAS meant to connect them loosely though; there are different "levels" of how "furry" furries are, after all. And certain sexual desires within the expansive furry community ARE in a higher ratio than the standard population spread (bestiality, for example. Homosexuality is another.). But I am curious about the pre-internet meetups you mentioned. Is there a book you can point me out to or a newspaper clip I could use to look a bit more into that? As far as I knew, this particular group of people didn't exist en masse at all before the internet, or at least not in knowledge of others. Finally, the term Social Justice Warrior is NOW being mocked and used as a joke, but it wasn't ORIGINALLY. Just like Black Lives Matter was originally chasing a justifiable and support-worthy message, but a few bad eggs was all it took and now too many BLM movements, past and present, merely want racial superiority rather than recognition (its original purpose). It's disgusting.

tgags123 : You can't just say that without telling the story of your past. I don't want to pry, but... curious now. Darn you! Lol

ZeroTails : By "plan it out" I did mean, like, knowing around what time it'll start, knowing what your body would allow as it's happening (and not push harder on yourself than necessary), knowing your limit basically. As I've pointed out, I wrote that when I was 18 or 19, and I noticed a lot of women complaining then about things that, to me, didn't register. One thought was "if it's uncomfortable to stand up from a sitting position, why are you b****ing about getting up just because you want a can of soda? Just ask someone to get it for you." All in all, I'm glad your response focused on the period rant, I was hoping someone would. It gave me some insight on that side of things. It helped me learn. Feel free to express your views on my other 3 rant points as well.

JigSaw : If you made a thread wanting people's views on LITERALLY ANY of what you just said, tag me in it and I'll be there. I'd honestly like to give a couple cents towards each point, but I feel that'd undercut the point of me replying to people in this thread, plus I don't want to get off-topic. Absolutely none of what you said was offensive in the slightest (I mean, why would it be? My rants were frikkin' abrasive). At the end of the day, I wanted honesty. I left those rants the way I originally wrote them (I originally wrote them thinking nobody would read them) because I KNEW people's replies would be snap-replies, with nary a second to think past "moderators be damned, this bigoted a-hole deserves a piece of my mind!" It feels more genuine if you don't hesitate. And your reply also felt exactly like that; that you didn't hesitate to rip me a new anus over my "hypocrisy". I absolutely loved reading everyone's responses to this. And yes, that includes yours.

Zlinqx : I always panic typing your name, thinking I typed g instead of q lol. With my first post, and why I left it the way it was, I'd be copy-pasting from exactly what I just told Jigsaw a paragraph ago. So just look up one paragraph, and you'll know why I wanted to keep it as-is. Plus, everything's written exactly the way I'd talk, which added to my original idea of "I want everyone willing to give me an honest response to be as honest as possible, without caring about the consequences" since, as I pointed out in the first line of my original post: I fully expected this thread to be my last on Vizzed. And I still went for it, consequences be damned. Also, I find no problem with people who are dressing differently to act a part in, let's say, a movie or play or game or whatever. Someone being paid for embodying a character, like in... I think the show's called RuPaul's Drag Race? Literally a competition for dressers of drag. Haven't watched it, but that's mainly because I hate Netflix (it crashes my computer too often to be worth using). But when a person actually BELIEVES they are that character, that's a problem. Wouldn't you think Tom Hanks was strange if you told him you loved how he acted in Forrest Gump and his reply was "What are you talking about? I AM Forrest Gump"?

Zeldisaster : There's really not that much too it lol. I used to argue a lot with people in the debate forum like 4 or 5 years ago and I got a lot of dislikes from it. I would typically support the conservative viewpoint, while most other people would support the liberal viewpoint. I didn't always going about debating in a respectful and calm manner, and I got myself into a bit of trouble with post dislikes and losing trust points.

tgags123 : As far as I know, Trust Points don't affect site availability once you hit Elite/Staff status. So you should be fine now, at least. Not that I'm advocating for the abrasive-debate style. As you point out yourself, it's not exactly the best way and usually doesn't accomplish what a person hopes to accomplish debating a stance.

Zeldisaster : I believe the more trust points you have, the more you are able to give to other people. That wasn't really the issue though, I was just making a lot more enemies than friends, and that's never a good thing. And as you said, it also didn't accomplish much.

Zeldisaster : Thanks for the reply and clarification. As for the pre-internet furry meetups, the main source I've heard from for that is from this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8aF2GxWi7Ag which talks about the history of the furry fandom even before it actually got the name that it currently has. This thread has ended up being surprisingly well-handled and mature, and that's something I'm glad about.

Zeldisaster : Right, I can't say I've seen to many people claiming to be transgender that aren't actually willing to go through with the operation though. At that point I don't see any problem with it.

Sure it's annoying that there's the vocal minority doing it for attention, but complaining about it will do little but play right into their hands while simultaenously making it worse for those who are serious.

Zlinqx : For me, there's a big difference between "willing" and "serious". I've personally talked (both face-to-face and online, friends and strangers) with people who would be "willing" to convert. But since the surgeries are expensive, not too many (about 1/10) actually have started saving up.

Anyone can show a webpage about the cost and complications, but not everyone can pull an envelope off a shelf in their closet saying :Gender Reassignment: with even just 13 dollars or so inside. Prove you're serious, and I'll support you all the way, and if I know you well enough I'll even toss you money myself to help. Until then, you are nothing but talk.
