After clinching Yellow, tgags is only a few steps away from clinching Blue. If Furret doesn't score at least two points more than him, we have the second mathematically decided jersey tomorrow.

Looks like we could have a new points record this TdV. With an average of 15 points everyday, tgags has enough to beat the previous record. However, he'll need a bit more than that to break 500, more aiming towards that famous 16 points average per day. We'll have to see which one ends up happening.

And well, I guess we could call the Grey banner clinched as well. Geeo has been on 35 points for a long while now, so unless he wakes up from that slumber it doesn't seem like anybody else will step up to make muffin return to his usual bright green color.

Yeah looks like Blue is pretty much secured. Which is good because it looks the worst combined with other jerseys IMO so I'm glad I didn't win it.

I pretty much negated what tgags gained on me during my off day. I'm feeling pretty secure in my spots, I've mathematically secured second place over zanderlex and overall left a big mark on this TdV. I should be able to get to 400 by the end of it (maybe I'll shoot for 420 exactly lol)

Although he's basically secured both Blue and Yellow, tgags will need to work hard in those jerseys for the rest of the month in order to pass 500. I really hope he can get there in time.

Furret : I actually did the math, for tgags to score at least 500 total, he needs to score at least 15.67 points between today and the last day, which to sum it up, that's at least 4 2nd places in each jersey each day.

Personally, I got fate in him to pass 500 points before the end of this TdV.

EX Palen : I'm not waking up from any slumber. I don't have the motivation to fight him for the spot.

I knew if anyone made a real effort at taking it that I wouldn't be able to hold on to it.

It's not that I don't want to have the grey banner but I don't have the drive to push for the win in that. Today would likely be the only day I could manage to get some points but not enough to secure a lead.

Getting 15-16 points per day for the last 6 days is going to be much more difficult than it seems. I still have nowhere to post, so I'm just going to have to hope other people make more threads or post more in forum games so I can get my word count up more for yellow. Also, it probably doesn't help that I told my friend I would go to the bar with him tonight. I'm going to miss the time of day where Vizzed is most active, and won't be around to defend my positions for each jersey.

Furret : I disagree because of a single exception. Blue and Red is by far the best looking combination, and also so rare to see that it's even one of the jewels of the TdV.

You did win that combination once, and the garnet-like tone it grants is probably the best one to go with your username color, other than the beautiful sight of cow poop when you win Green lol

While it's still possible for you to break the record, having such a big gap with second and two jerseys secured kind of disables your drive, because you've already achieved the important parts and thus it's time more to protect what's been achieved rather than trying to eat more than you can chew. Or something like that

Also I agree completely about red and blue being the best jersey combination.

EX Palen : I personally find Red/Yellow or Red/Green the best looking combinations. Red/Blue is good as well but I've always been more of a fan of warmer colors like red, brown, orange and yellow.

tgags123 : I'm used to that expression because of a friend of mine, he lives quite away from us and the group quickly dubbed him as "living in Narnia", hence the closet (it was made a closet in the Spanish translation of the movie).

I'm fully aware of its double meaning, but it's basically for the lolz. You know, 4 AM tends to produce this kind of situations.

Today went quite well for me. I don't know where tgags went but he kind of disappeared.

He really can't afford to do that anymore if he wants to break 500 by the end of the month.

Slow posting day.

My 25th Yellow jersey and my 90th jersey ever came at a time I didn't even expect to get anything. Also, with the 10 points I got yesterday, I'm now at the gates of reaching 1500 total points.

I guess I benefited from the slow activity these last days are prone to have. With most things settled, people has lost the drive to go all-out like at the start of the month, so I don't think we'll see numbers much higher than this from now on.

At the end, tgags didn't score that badly. He scored below the average he needs to break records, but 14 points isn't much ground lost. Maybe he can make up for it if no unexpected participant kicks in, but with activity at a low level the chances to encounter a wild unexpected participant rise dangerously.

I need 16 points per day over the next 5 days to break 500. I'll have to keep my foot on the gas, and just hope that no one goes crazy, like EX Palen mentioned.

I think it's slowing down because everyone basically got their jerseys and banners, the only exception is if either tgags or Furret basically falls off the map and the other one ends up taking over, but tgags basically have a full 2-day lead, means that Furret can score all 28 points and tgags doesn't even have to score a single point for 2 days, and tgags will still have the lead.

The White Banner is still anyone's ball game, like even a Newbie can score 1 single point and win the White Banner.

The Gray Banner, more in likely that Sonicmcmuffin will end up taking the Gray Banner, unless someone else steps up and takes it.

It's a shame that I haven't been able to post as much as I wanted. I was really hoping to break my record for posts in a month and get the jersey but now it's time to start preparing for July.

I don't think we've evr had a TdV that was pretty much all wrapped up a whole week out.

Honestly just been chilling, I'm waiting for staff announcements on tuesday, and i don't want to burn myself out by competing for points that effectively don't matter. Also i'd like to see tgags go for the record.

The Tour de Vizzed is a fun competition but it's also not the ideal thing for a returning member to get too heavily invested in.. I do want to have the will to post and be active after the month is over after all
