As a general rule, we'd ask people to listen to a tune completely before rating, with loops being the exception. So yeah, if a tune is five minutes long but it loops 10 times, we won't count that against anyone.

What I've found to be a good "strategy" if you will for song ratings is to listen to roughly 10 songs in a row, and then open all of them in new tabs to go and rate them. Makes it easier to keep track of where you left off and you don't have to constantly switch tabs, find the next song, listen to it, open it, rate it, close it, go back to what you were doing. You can just click a tab, rate, and close. 

Please disregard one of my posts here where I said I wasn't gonna compete. I change my mind. I realized the attitude towards the TDV has seriously improved compared to the time I was talking about. Everyone is just very chill and relaxed about it but still reasonable. I really love the improvement. No more drama. I was basically just living under a rock with paranoia lol. (the last time I really competed, the TDV was much different, but now it's so much better)

I just felt really annoyed about something in life, I had to rant about it today (nothing to do with TDV). But it felt so nice getting it off my chest, plus it gave me a boost for the yellow jersey which is also cool.

Sorry if I annoyed anyone for bringing that up lol. If the community becomes more chill, then I need to become more chill myself.

Hmmm I'm a veteran user and I don't have points yet...maybe I will join in on this TDV and get some points and maybe snag a couple of jerseys while I'm at it. Ultimately I always get either the blue or yellow jersey's(well these two jersey's always went hand in hand depending on how much you post and or if you make a review or guide) But I think this TDV will be the TDV that I finally obtain the mythical green jersey which is the only jersey I haven't had (excluding the rainbow jersey because I don't have enough free time to strive towards that lol ^^) 

We're getting close to everyone in the top 5 for red having 100 CP for the day. That hasn't happened in awhile.

Divine Aurora : Well technically you don't count as a veteran user. In order to be a veteran user and qualify for the grey banner you have to have registered 7+ years ago. Your DA account was made in 2013, so you don't quite qualify

Also, good like if you think you have any chance at getting a green jersey this TdV. Furret is a mad man when it comes to CP actions. As a Vizzed Elite, you don't stand a chance against his 512 song ratings per day.

tgags123 : While I appreciate the compliment I do want to add that I have only ever gone up to 250 song ratings in one day. Which happened once. 

I want to win the overall green so I have to do a lot of actions but I always make sure it's not physically impossible to take away a 7 pointer.

Divine Aurora : Good luck getting a green from me! If you catch me on one of the 3 upcoming days where I have to leave early because of exams you can pull it off easily. I started with the same attitude as you this TdV, "Just want my first Red and first new Green" and roughly two weeks later I'm in the lead for one and close to the lead for the other. Hopefully action limits are fixed by next TdV and you'll be able to compete in that one from the start

Furret : I didn't mean it in a negative way. I'm just saying that for him to win a green jersey over you this TdV will be a very difficult task. It's not your fault that the daily limits are different based on power level, and I don't blame you at all for using your available actions.

If I had started competing from the very beginning I probably wouldn't be making as much use of my high limits but when you start a week late it's either that or nothing

Successful day for me. I get to extend my Red jersey lead which is great, and I'm still catching up to tgags for green at a great pace!

Furret : Pretty sure we both got the same amount of points today for like the third time in the past 4 days, which is good for me. Gotta maintain that rainbow banner lead. You are catching up in green, but I'm fine with that.

tgags123 : It's actually crazy how parallel our lines are when you look at the graph. I caught up a ton the first few days I competed and then after that we've been one unit haha. Congrats on passing 300 points! That would've been enough to win you a TdV during some earlier competitions

tgags123 : I mean if donations count towards the green jersey they I could essentially 'Pay to play" and buy myself a green jersey but I'll get the green jersey on my off day from work when I can focus entirely on vizzed for the day, honestly blue wasn't my target but I wanted to see just how many posts it would take to get around 100cp since the most amount of posts I've made in a TDV was 241(this was before the CP system) i figure bust out around 110-160 posts with about a minimum of 80-100 words each and maybe 3 reviews(1200 words plus) and two game guides(each 1500-2000 words each) and poof I'll have a green jersey   

Divine Aurora : That would probably net you a Red jersey (Most CP per day). Green jersey is most individual CP actions a day (Rating things, posts, uploading screenshots). 

Divine Aurora : I think you're confusing the red and green jerseys Red is for total CP, while green is for the number of CP actions. So for example, each time you post, or rate a screenshot, or something like that it counts as 1 action. If you write two reviews in one day, that should be enough for red on most days. Green requires you to do a lot of smaller actions.

Furret : I was just about to edit my post lol ^^ I wen't and seen the red jersey is now CP, while green is just CP actions so basically just max out each field of the CP actions and pray someone of higher rank isn't competing  lol
