I've sourced a number of things from the site over the last few years. I wanted to see if I could find something, but I couldn't find the site...? I'm either forgetting how to use the internet or the domain doesn't exist anymore.. I'm not sure which answer I'd rather hear.

Can anyone tell me what's going on?

Well, I'm afraid to tell you this, but the site opted to close up after being targeted by Nintendo.

As far as I know, this happened in August, around the time Emuparadise executed its removal. I guess that, knowing their incoming fate, they decided to voluntarily step in before matters got worse.

Seeing how politely Nintendo treated us, I'd have simply removed all their content and moved on. Nintendo doesn't want to shut sites down directly, they always play fair first, so I wonder why they decided to take such a drastic action. They apparently left a statement, but it's now unreadable since the site is down.

I thought they were teaming up with another site and redoing everything? What ever happened to that idea? I can't remember the site they were teaming up with, but I guess that fell threw. It's a damn shame, but people need to realize something here, these developers and publishers are allowed to this. I mean I am a huge supporter of emulation, but people need to know the facts, and what Nintendo did was not wrong, and for the record, THEY didn't take down EmuParadise, they only took down LoveROMS. EmuParadise owner got worried, and took it down, and I understand that. Nintendo isn't the only one that was behind this. Capcom, Square Enix, etc all were, you know why? You know the NES/SNES Classic? The nostalgia consoles that were released, that is your reason why. Do I think Nintendo and these companies should back off? Yes to a point, but at the end of the day, they can do it.
