There's a ton of different options when it comes to energy drinks, like Red Bull, Monster, Kick start, and a bunch of others.

If you need a little extra energy, which one do you go for?

My favorite is Kickstart. I've been loving Mountain Dew for years and this is also by them.

Although I haven't really drank any kind of energy drinks for awhile now, its probably been like 2 years since the last time I drunk any kind of energy drink, but back when I used to drink energy drinks, my favorite energy drink was Monster Energy, especially the Java Monster energy drinks.

My favorite would also have to be Kickstart! I love the taste of it. I never really get any energy from any of the drinks so I just have to go by taste lol

It depends. If I am driving, I'll grab a 5 hour energy. If it's for mixers, I'll grab Red Bull. If it's just for drinking, which is rarely, I'll drink a Bawls if I have one available, or I'll go and grab a pack of Monster from across the street at Wal-Mart. 

My favorite energy drinks are the green slash Monster, the Pipeline Punch Monster, and the orange Kickstart. I thought Rockstar was So-so but the worst energy drinks I've had were NOS and No Fear both tasted like throw up to me.

Yeah it's really hard not to like the orange Kickstart. Orange anything I usually like as well.

a lot of energy drinks taste the same to me, but my favourite so far is probably monster energy.
im typically always hyped up on caffeine anyway! so it doesnt make a difference to me ^^;

Rockstar Punched (not pipeline punch) is my favorite.
Tastes like fruit punch, so its not bitter like all the other ones.

I can't really handle all the caffeine anymore but when I was drinking them once in a while, I'd have to say it comes to a tie between the Rockstar Cola (I don't even know if those are still being made) and a Monster Import. Those Imports have a little more kick to them and are a bit sweeter. More expensive but good stuff. The Rockstar Cola tasted pretty much just like Pepsi to me, which is a good thing imo

m0ddb3rg935: It can be really hard with people that can't handle caffeine and/or has sensitivity to caffeine to drink any kinds of energy drinks because of the high caffeine content, although there are energy drinks out there that are in fact caffeine free though.

Coffee even though it doesn't really give me much energy. I tried the 5 hour energy drink and felt like I was having heart attack.

JigSaw : I couldn't imagine how you would feel if you drunk a Monster, Rockstar, or other very high caffeinated drinks, either your heart would go a million miles per hour (or Kilometers per hour), or simply you'll turn into Superman, or go completely insane and never sleep.

I'm not really a health freak or anything but I will almost always refuse energy drinks because of how unhealthy they are. But honestly, I don't like the taste anyways so that's not affecting anything. If coffee counts, that's my favorite, otherwise 5 hour shots.

One time I drank an entire Red Bull in the span of 15 minutes because I didn't realize you should pace them. I was also just on the computer and felt like drinking it just because I was told not to... crazy stuff. I started shaking so bad that I couldn't even type, so I had to go outside and run around and do jumping jacks and whatnot. Point is, I can NOT handle that stuff. Still, one day maybe I'll have another energy drink if I'm pulling an all-nighter to study or if I'm going skiing all day or something, idk.

I don't drink energy, but I did actually happen to have a Monster once and then never again!!


I have OCD so I really shouldn't be drinking that stuff anyway!!

TheFadedWarrior : I do drink a lot of coffee. Like every time I have to work during the overnight hours for like 6-8 hours, I do need that amount of caffeine that is in coffee, mostly to prevent myself from falling asleep.

Like I said, despite that I haven't drank any high caffeinated drinks in 2 years, but if there is any point that I have to grab a can of Monster, or anything to stay awake, I would, but I haven't had to do that, just yet.

I try to stay away from them, but they are a bit of a vice to me. I drink Rockstar, Monster, and a few off brands. I am not really a big fan of Red Bull unless it's mixed with booze. But I have like 6 Monster's sitting in fridge right now, granted I am not going to drink all of them in a day lol. I mean that would be stupid for my health.

HeavyMetalGamer : You are kinda like me as of late (except the whole mixing Red Bull with booze), I have been staying away from them, not because of the whole bad health stuff, but the main reason is because I don't really feel like drinking them that much anymore, in fact that whenever I go to the supermarket, or even the gas station, I usually don't get them anymore, and if I do, it will be extremely rare.

Normally whenever I do happen to get me something to drink, I normally get either a soft drink, coffee, or water most of the time. especially soda, and people say that's unhealthy to, but meh, I still will drink it.

I'm not a big fan of energy drinks due to each can having a quarter of the global production of sugar, though I must admit I like to experiment with new drinks and flavors from time to time, and sometimes it happens to be an energy drink.

I remember having a good taste of the Araça Red Bull, made with some kind of berry that makes it look purple (or so was when inside the club I got it served at), and since it was sugar-free then I totally have no complains about it. The standard Red Bull isn't very tasty, so I'm very glad they have a wide variety of flavors to pick from.

I did taste Monster back in time, but it was overloaded with sugar and it felt very cloying. Plus, it was a can of half a liter, so there was just too much to drink there. Due to that bad taste, I haven't yet tried any sugar-free version and see if it's any good, though I don't discard trying it in the future.

Nothing a little black tea can't fix! :^) Best pick-me-up of them all!
