The only zombie games I play are the Left 4 Dead games. I would say Killing Floor 2 as well if it actually counted. Maybe one day I will try Resident Evil.

I enjoy quite a few zombie games, Left 4 Dead being one of my favorites, Dying Light is really good. I think at one time there were too many zombie games, and it was being ran into the ground, but even the ones that I didn't play much of because I felt burnt out of zombie games, I really enjoyed them. Especially those Zombie Sniper games, which are very similar to the Sniper Elite series, might of been developed by the same developer, but I could be wrong there.

My favorite zombie game series is The House of The Dead. Recently there was finally a new House of The Dead game called The House of The Dead Scarlet Dawn released in arcades in Japan and is soon to be coming to Dave & Buster's in America (although there is no Dave & Buster's near me). I'm hoping to see a PC release or at least a console release in the future.

I do kinda like them, but they're more than a little overdone both by AAA developers with things like Metal Gear Survive and by indie developers with about half of the crappy, poorly-made cash-in games you'll see being zombie survival games with crafting systems. I like the idea ZombiU was trying to go for by making the zombies actually a threat and not just an obstacle for you to mow down by the dozens, but I'm not sure how well it was executed.

I'm not really a huge fan of zombie games. The only ones I've really played have been the zombies modes on different Call of Duty games. Those game modes were fun, but overall I feel like zombies are so overdone and boring, the same way battle royale games have become recently.
